  1. Posted last Friday, slow guy... lol... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/22634-stamp-malfunction.html
  2. When did it stop being called "chaw?"
  3. Stamp Malfunction The Postal Service created a stamp with a picture of President Obama. The stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged the President, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing and $1.73 million in congressional spending, a special presidential commission presented the following findings: The stamp is in perfect order. There is nothing wrong with the adhesive. People are spitting on the wrong side. :D:D
  4. The Applebee's around here are closed, so it's a non-issue, anyway.
  5. Man, we all have gutterheads, don't we? Uh...
  6. Probably a remote.
  7. Jeez... Fastest gunman on planet. (Video)
  8. Great, Uker! Congrats!
  9. My wife crazy??

    Ruger SR9

I field stripped a new one the other day, and it's not there.
  11. Well, since those folks have basically put a "shoot me first" sign on (basically a permit badge without the badge)... maybe they should stay home and eat, anyway.

The new models don't have it.

I dunno. That's just what the nomenclature says; I haven't tried it, myself. That's always made me wonder about the usefulness of the mag disconnect.
  14. I called at 3:30, and they had processed mine, and it's on the way. I guess there's just so many in the system, it takes a gentle nudge...
  15. The "No Guns = No Money" cards are a nice idea, but the .pdf file isn't formatted properly for business card stock, and it's locked where it can't be adjusted.

Once you remove the mag disconnect, it's ok. If you leave it in, make sure the mag is in if you dry fire.
  17. Yeah, I have my receipt.
  18. I'm not even seeing an x...
  19. My permit expires 12 June. I went for renewal 6 April. I called today, 4 June; they haven't even run my background yet... the lady was very nice, and told me to call back at 3:30 this afternoon. We'll see...

You can do two things to immediately help the trigger. If it has a mag disconnect, remove it. Also, cut the last coil and a half or so off the striker spring; be careful to not take off too much. That will make it much better.

It is my favorite EDC. Carries as flat as a 1911, points like one, "all holes touching" accurate, easy to field strip... Ruger really got it right with this one.
  22. So, my pastor and family just got back from a week and a half trip to Kenya... they're telling me about all the Obama t-shirts that say, "One Born African Managing Americans"... and citizens telling them they were promised American money... I'm trying to figure out the surprise...
  23. The label says Colt is a "licensed trademark" and "Made by Carl Walther, Germany." So, it's really a Walther, not a Colt, right? Not a problem, and it's nitpicky, I suppose... but it ain't Hartford.
  24. And while it's not necessary to put your SS# on the form, it sure speeds up the process.
  25. I believe he's going for Colon Spewell, actually.
