    CZ PO7 Duty

Man... the classic lines of the regular CZ 75... they just ain't there, are they? But, in the real world, that matters not... if it works every time... and is accurate... maybe I should look at one...

    Kimber Owners

I had an early Pro Carry SLE. It was fine; I just decided the 1911 wasn't the carry platform for me. Only Kimber I regret losing was my Clackamas rollmarked one; it was the best.
  3. The Smart car is a Mercedes product. I first saw them a few years ago in Switzerland. They were designed to use the "extra space" in between parking spaces over there. They worked, and were amazingly affordable. They were only around $5,000 USD. I tried to see about bringing one here, but that wasn't possible because of all our emission standards. You see what that's done to the price of it here...
  4. Camo Cube?
  5. Ya know, Glocks ain't pretty; they work, though...
  6. I know a lot of you guys had quite a time with ol' Ralph G Briscoe. I know, he's a lib's lib... but I wanted to give a public kudo to him here. He gave my Marine son his mid '70's Combat Commander that he bought new... just because he was honored for my boy to be it's next owner. Think what you want, but he's a good guy, at heart.
  7. From a musician standpoint, it looks like an excellent haul-it-all...
  8. And... there... you... go. Well said...
  9. Wonder if the letter I sent him telling him I wouldn't even vote for him for dogcatcher had anything to do with it...
  10. Getting about time for the pancake bunny again, isn't it?
  11. I see a lot of discussion regarding trigger reset. Most centers around complaint of long resets, and the marvels of short ones. I can understand this making a difference with range shooting... but tell me honestly. Any of you that have been in a true SHTF/combat/any "need to survive" scenario... has reset mattered to you? I would think (not having been there, thank God) that with adrenaline pumping, eyes dilating, heart pounding circumstances, trigger reset would be totally ignored. Your finger is going to go all the way back and forward in the trigger guard repeatedly with no regard whatsoever to where the reset click is. So, what's the big deal about it?
  12. People that don't know how to spell "peeve."
  13. If your gun isn't ready, neither are you. Chambered. I raised 7 kids. Taught them all; teaching takes the, "Wow, wonder what this does" factor out. "Protecting" them from your gun(s) only endangers them.
  14. Exactly. New situation, and I'm sorry, but the robbed had now become the aggressor. IF the OP is the correct story, this is not going to go well for our "good guy." Big "if." Have to have all the facts to know for sure.
  15. Tim Watson, the fiddle guy on the General Jackson; he's a Bama original. Huge 2nd amendment guy, also.
  16. ROTFL... I got that from a Bama fiddle player buddy of mine... thought it might
  17. I accidentally omitted the ... oops...
  18. Peyton Manning, after living a full life, died and went to heaven. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Peyton felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Crimson and white sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Bama logo flag, and in every window, an Alabama Crimson Towel. Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even went to the Hall of Fame." God said "So what's your point, Peyton?" "Well, why does Greg McElroy get a better house than me?" God chuckled, and said "Peyton, that's not Greg's house, it's Mine."
  19. But... it's a Taurus... it can't be any good...
  20. Yeah, but it's not the 1911 issue. It's the Mustang issue. But if the rights were handled properly, then it makes sense.
  21. How have they managed to not be sued by Colt for the complete rip?
  22. Name is Tight'uns...
  23. I used to. I got bit by the HK bug a while back, though, and sold my SR9.
  24. Handguns are typically just windage adjustable. Now, the SR9's sights are also adjustable for elevation.
  25. They're around $375 used, give or take... how much is the 24/7 running? http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=148987361 That's new...
