    CZ question

Would a full length 75 B barrel work in a CZ 75 compact, in essence, giving me "two guns," one with the full size ballistics and control just for target practice, using the standard compact barrel for carry?
  2. Wow... that's one reason I like paper...
  3. Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter! Ok, ok... I like Keifer; 24 is an addiction... and Clint is awesome...

Any bets on how long before Gaston sues 'em? Diamondback Site
  5. Mom Sicilian, Dad French/German... that's why the French name came out on top, the other language I (kinda) speak is German, but I'm mostly wop... she's a 1st gen American. My grandparents came through Ellis...
  6. I had a CZ Compact; the only thing I didn't like was that it was too heavy on my hip. It was an excellent shooter, one of my best ever. I've seriously thought about trying to get it back (I sold it to a friend). You can't go wrong with them, IMO.
  7. No, I have no interest there. Just in reliability, accuracy, and quality of manufacture. You know, like the Kimber Clackamas/Yonkers deal. I had a Clack; one of the best 1911's I ever had... wish I still had it...
  8. So, I guess having an all German one now is quite desirable...?
  9. What SIG's are made here?
  10. No sure, shi*lock... I just knew somebody would hand me my own wiseass back... why, I oughta...
  11. What's the difference in "Made in Germany" and "Made in W.Germany?" Is there a quality difference?
  12. Dry fire it, and it will............. (I'm sorry, I just could NOT resist!! )

    M&P .45

The problem IS the high dollar 1911. The gun wasn't designed that way. A mil-spec 1911 will be dead nuts reliable, and do what a defensive handgun is supposed to do; save your butt at 15 yards and less. If you want to hit 6" steel plates dead center at 100 yards with every shot, THAT 1911 is going to have reliability issues. So is any other handgun tightened up to do it. Get a RIA 1911 for in the $400-ish range, and feel confident that you have the tool you need FOR THE JOB IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO.
  14. LCR. It's on my short list...
  15. Ryan, NOOOOOOOOO... stay away! You have a far better gun... far better...
  16. Is it gonna be an Usel-ton with the first few letters changed to Reming?
  17. I don't change carry method; Comp-Tac paddle. I do switch from 9mm to .45 in cold weather; I figure I might need the extra hardball punch to get through heavier clothes. That may be goofy, but it's just what I think...
  18. Sounds like the phony satire news of "The Onion." lol...
  19. So they're going to make a shorter .223 GAP round now?
  20. School closed already???
  21. Kimber, Shmimber... overpriced glued together metal dust particles. No, thanks... :pleased:
  22. My favorite part; oh, if only... Try an HK P2000, specifically a V2... excellent 9's...
  23. No snow yet...
  24. And THIS man gets the Grand Prize!!! (I don't know what it is, but he gets it.) Applause, applause!
  25. Personally, I'd prefer for the Marines to behave tactically... just sayin'...
