  2. The few times I've done it, only my wife has hassled me... I don't usually do it, though.
  3. Soul is for cool and fondling. Plastic is for work...
  4. How come I've never bumped into you at work? Oh... wait... uh... where DO you work? I need a job...
  5. I've never tried it... but I can't imagine desiring to set off a shotgun shell in a three inch barrel... and now PLASTIC!!??
  6. Wouldn't he be really close to Bill's shop?
  7. I think as far as the Ruger goes, it's the trigger. I am not a revo guy, but the Ruger trigger really has me wanting one. I got a chance to feel it at the local Academy store; it was pretty dang awesome.
  8. You guys need to join SASS. Then you can have your fun...
  9. Well, I see S&W and Taurus are now chasing Ruger's lead... SHOT Show 2010
  10. Uh... I've owned six, including a Clackamas one. I think they're nice, and my tongue in cheek remark was not a bash; but I believe the preeminent use of a handgun is for self defense. I just happen to believe there are better options for that.
  11. I always saw it as "Crock Talk." Never cared for it, but I was there for quite a while...
  12. Friends don't let friends buy Kimbers...
  13. Huh? The V2 is as simple as a Glock; point and shoot. What are you talking about?
  14. Thread been going a while: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/32751-worlds-ugliest-revolver.html
  15. I want that ring!!!!!
  16. Is that faint applause I hear from Mary Jo's grave?
  17. Thanks, Smith. I just didn't know...
  18. What is the current law regarding transport of a pistol caliber carbine? (Not sure this is where it goes, but...)
  19. tntnixon, my practice out in the back yard is with limited space. That's between 15-20 feet. I try to keep most of my practice at closer range; guess I've read too many of the Ayoob stories where the courtroom events show that you have other options than shooting if there's some distance between you, defensively speaking.
  20. That's why. I don't do that with any other pistol. My Glock's had the 3.5 Ghost triggers installed; still couldn't do that with them. For me, function and performance of the HK is unmatched.
  21. "I will not make age an issue in this (thread). I'm not going to exploit for (discussion) purposes my opponents youth and inexperience." :biglol:
  22. Sure, Hex. We'll figger out something. Bring the canoli.
  23. You still stuck in quad core? Back in the day, dude... now it's 7 core... 8 on the way...
  24. HK P2000, V2, hands down. Trigger is infinitely better, same size as a G19, but a couple ounces lighter, rounded edges, better sights, points more naturally, not the odd "Glock angle." Lots of folks complain about the "HK tax;" while I understand that, and certainly wouldn't pay it for any USP series, the P2000 is worth it.
  25. That's the first place I asked; no answer...
