  1. You may be right; I'll go with that. As far as you other two, sorry I woke up in a bad mood. I'm not into sugar coating.
  2. You know, I've always wondered if Sam Colt was left handed; what with the loading gate and all on a SAA... it seems it was really designed for a lefty, to me.
  3. Your buddy is an idiot. 1 John 1: 5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. God doesn't put things on us. Satan is the king of this world, for now. God sent Jesus to suffer and die for us, so He could continue to make us suffer? That's pretty much as stupid as it gets.
  4. Because Colt's don't need work. Their trigger's (snakes) are perfect.
  5. My .380 is a SIG P230. Flawless... as they should be.
  6. Third!!!
  7. Margaritavegas?

  9. There is the dilemma. ALL makers build good and bad; it just happens. Not trashing Taurus at all, but it seems that the ratio of bad/good is higher there. And that's what I try to look at.
  10. THAT's not news...
  11. I have heard those are really excellent. Never tried one, but I'd like to.
  12. True, if it needs penicillin. Otherwise, it kinda stays here...
  13. That was uncalled for. My one HK has never given me trouble; I can't say that about one of the multiple Taurii I've had over the years. Back on topic... check around regularly at the local gun shops. You should be able to find something that will be close to your price range, with patience. If you're in a hurry, it won't be easy.
  14. If you have to go .380 (or want to), FWIW would suggest a SIG P230; light and small enough to go in a pocket, but a big enough grip to get a hand on, and absolute reliability.
  15. Well... you really only need ONE kidney...
  16. I've asked this before. I don't get it. Just stupid. "Home of the GOO" just ain't good enough, I guess.
  17. You are most welcome...
  18. My son was shooting expert in the pre-quals... on the final day he wound up sharpshooter. He was telling me his shots started hitting just below where they needed to be after the first few, and the sergeant on line told someone there, "Check this man's sights! He's my expert! There must be something wrong!"
  19. Where my Mom goes, they had an announcement about all the "sick and sh-t ins"... lol...
  20. I enjoyed the shows. First time I'd seen them. Having never experienced full auto, was Gunny's grip during that fairly common? Down toward the hip, with left arm pushing down on the barrel?
  21. Zero snow in Gallatin, at 1:23...
  22. Something that she'll miss you with...
  23. Yes; but most any modern handgun will do the job it's supposed to at 21 feet or less. For daily carry, I would think the less soulful, the better. Now, if I was going for distance, I would use only a 1911.
  24. It amazes me how Mr. Klein's fecal material that fell on his keyboard managed to soak through and take the form of words...
  25. Now, THAT's funny!
