  1. All my buds in the band carry, so................
  2. The poll is dated 19 January. They've done a pretty good job of keeping it buried for a month now. "CtheBS."
  3. What horrible lip synch... lol... wonder what century that's from?
  4. ASCAP General Licensing Report Forms
  5. You are correct. Check the licensing company websites, ASCAP and BMI. I would think info would be there.
  6. Personally, I don't care for that phrase.
  7. They tried resurrecting the campaign a few years ago, Ed Bruce and all. It was a dismal failure. Guess the times aren't what they used to be.
  8. ... openly willing to lick the goo from the O'sac.
  9. FWIW (very little), Wamp was at our church this past weekend. While churches aren't allowed to "support" anyone, Maury will let them (any of them) get up and say a few words. I didn't get a chance to talk with him, but he spoke impressively, and seemed to come across as one of the good guys.

    Toyota

(This needed its own thread) Then there's Toyota's new model...no brakes, no steering, accelerator sticks...The Kamikaze!

  12. We have the winner; nothing more to see here.
  13. I took a Cadillac Escalade out for a test drive just to drive that sucker before they become extinct... The salesman sat in the back seat describing the car and all its wonderful options. The seats were of particular interest. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat. I stated the car must be a Republican car. Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican car and I explained that if it were a Democrat car, the seats would blow smoke up your a$$ year-round. I had to walk back to the dealership...
  14. That's a mildly disturbing visual... :p
  15. Guess that's just a reflection of the "basic" guy I am. Never had the desire. You guys enjoy!
  16. And that is all that matters.
  17. Wow... a .45 and a rifle... for a .45... your money, dude... Sorry, I don't get it...
  18. Well, even if they do make it right, I'm in no way considering one after this. Hate to see you with these problems, Bill.
  19. Glad I stayed out, too. It was kind of a "two for one" night...
  20. Now, the XSE line is not the best example of the Colt line, imho. The standard line is much better. As an aside; I've never understood the deal with wanting a gun to look "pretty." Pretty is for one on display. I want a working gun to be one without an "ooh ahh" factor. I want it to work every time. That usually requires a little looseness with a semi. If it's tighter than a Swiss watch, it's liable to choke when you don't need it to. (Think, I'd rather show off Ginger, but I want Mary Ann.)
  21. Although ALL Kimber's have been built in Yonkers, NY, the company started in Clackamas, OR, and the first 6,000 or so frames were rollmarked Clackamas. This was their entrance into the 1911 fray, they were out to beat Colt, and they were excellent guns. Since then, they have somewhat rested on their laurels, and QC has suffered, prices have skyrocketed... Colt has steadily remained (after their own late '80's, early 90's debacles) a better value.
  22. Well... I've owned a Clackamas, a Pro Carry SLE, two other Pro Carry's, a full size stainless, a Classic... only one I regret losing was the Clack. After all those, still prefer a Colt any day. I just don't see Kimber's price justification.

  24. Well, trip was safe, but interesting. Did not carry; there was no check of anything, except for the metal detectors just inside the entrance doors of the terminal. Those probably would have got me. The Louisville stop was interesting; we got away late because local PD came on and took a couple "gangsta" types off that were sitting in the back of the bus.
