  1. Tempest, thanks. Once the incoming water stopped, I managed to get the basement empty. I still have to watch the seepage for now, but about 10-15 minutes every couple hours seems to be emptying it. I appreciate the help offer, though, very much!
  2. I'd love to see the look on the face of one of those "9mm is wimpy" guys if they had one pointed at 'em... just sayin'...
  3. Tempest, where in H'ville are you? I have to come up there in the morning... Well, I just went down there again... and the level of water has actually gone down a little. See what it looks like come morning...
  4. My basement... help?

  6. That falls into the "long shot" I mentioned.
  7. A "viable third party" is both a long shot and a mistake. IT needs to absorb and delete the current GOP.
  8. If he "goes green," then he's been eating waaaaaaay to many turnip greens. Hence the additional need for the 9 bathrooms...
  9. Third party runs have a history of working against US. It never splits the opposition; it allows them to win with a less than desirable candidate. WE need to collectively have the common sense to have the third party candidate of our choice actually be the candidate in the two party system we have to keep our votes from splitting. Good luck with that.
  10. I'm not sure 9 bathrooms are enough to handle the $#i+ that just falls out of his mouth, let alone the other end.
  11. But, YOU'RE the hater...
  12. My Dad was a DJ back in the '50's, country radio; he wrote "Be-Bop-a-Lula," discovered/managed Gene Vincent, so the rockabilly vein started in the house. We got to Nashville in '67, and he was National Promotion Director for Monument Records. I grew up with famous/infamous folks around as a part of everyday life. So, my music background was so different and heavy, that's how I wound up doing it for a living.
  13. Not a candy guy. Not much of a sweet tooth. Now, good bread pudding... YUMMM!
  14. Hey; anybody can make a good one and a bad one... in anything.
  15. Well, some guy named Mike Detty in the current issue of some Weapons for Law Enforcement mag has given it a rave review this month...
  16. That's not damage; that's common sense safety! Good on ya! (All my life, I've heard different guys say, "Women are only good for one thing." Can anyone give me a clue what that is? )
  17. So, when she's away, your girlfriend doesn't snore, either?
  18. YESSSSSSS! Dude KNOWS!!!!! (Martin/Taylor for the serious stuff, Tak/Ovation for the bus... oh, yeah...)
  19. No, they become single over and over through mate suffocation.
  20. Looks like she's already at least a triple... maybe a quad.
