    Apparently, since I called, some of the answerers have been getting defensive. When I called, the young man said he sure hoped to hell the office wouldn't endorse Reid. No official endorsement is supposed to be made until September, I believe.

    And there is the crux of the problem for folks that bash the NRA. It's not the NRA's problem; it's the perspective of the viewer. One has to understand the NRA's role, and take their "endorsements" with the necessary grain of salt.
