  1. Just got back from the poll.
  2. Had one, it was ok. Had a steel K9, also; it was ok. Wasn't a fan of the triggers, really. Seems no matter where I roam for a while, I always come back to Glockadelphia... "On the whole, I'd rather be in Glockadelphia."
  3. pegasus, did you get my pm? Send me a name and address...
  4. Shutter speed playing the biggest role, I suspect...
  5. Crazy the way the whole gun looks warped...
  6. Holsters and anything else right here: Your one-stop shop for all things Bersa and Firestorm
  7. Seraph, excellent. Just don't want a thumb safety to deal with. I carried one of those for a long time.
  8. "Small" is relative. This Bersa is the same size as a Glock 19. IMO, I think that's optimum carry size. Why can't SIG, Beretta, Colt, Ruger, etc. come up with a .45 like that? It would no doubt be more reliable than what seems to come out of the South American manufacturers. (Not a 1911 platform, either. I think the DA/SA is the best carry option, again, for me.)
  9. OS, to me, the Glock 36 (slim) is too small and painful. Haven't seen an XD Compact; but the XD's I've had just didn't do well for me.
  10. I guess I need to be a little clearer. The Bersa and Taurus (to me) are easily controllable; they compare to a 9mm in recoil. BUT, the South American manufacturing seems to be hit and miss. Why can't an American/European maker get it together, and build a reliable .45 along those lines? (I say that, because it seems the most reliable manufacturers are American/European.)
  11. What kind of light attaches to the rail? There's no slot...

Just do it. Nobody's perfect, but they work FOR us. We need that.
  13. Educate me; why does it seem the small-ish .45 concept seems to be on track in South America where manufacturing consistency seems questionable? The Bersa Thunder, Taurus PT 145... what does it appear that America/Europe tries to go too small (Kahr, G36) to make a controllable, comfortable, concealable .45? Or am I just missing something obvious?
  14. pegasus, sent you a pm...
  15. I'll take that extra mag, if you find it!
  16. Yes. (The only "stupid question" is the one unasked.)
  17. Ok, my mistake; when hand racking, it does not lock back...? However, in shooting it to empty, it does...? Anyone know why that would be? I'm not going to complain; I think I really like this lil' .45.
  18. Got an anonymous letter from this organization today, no return address, nothing. States their "top 5 reasons" to not vote for Diane Black. I'm not going to give them the time to list them here, but I looked up their SB references. ALL are fabrications; two of the "bills" don't even exist in the legislative record. This is NOT the kind of BS we need; it is nothing more than a disservice.
  19. No biggie. Love your avatar, btw...
  20. How do I manage to confuse people so easily? Must get it from my wife... Bersa .45 opinions?
  21. The LCR is awesome; you will love it.
  22. Ok, just shot one of these. Feels like shooting a good 9mm. Owners, any issues with these? I would hate if it has a rap sheet like a thug's, because it's without a doubt the most comfy shooting small(ish) .45 I've ever tried. It is the Thunder Ultra Compact model. Oh, is the slide supposed to lock back on the empty mag? Because it doesn't...
  23. Good for... her... gulp... hopefully she'll get used to it... because the .38 she's probably gonna have in her purse is gonna scare the $#i+ out of her!!!!
