  1. I knew he was headed to Glock-ville.
  2. And click it how? lol
  3. Is there a way to switch off those annoying preview balloons that show up when the mouse floats over a thread? They seem to block the link, and then you can't click on it to open the thread. Extremely frustrating.
  4. I've had a $2 "credit" on my account ever since I opened it, years ago. Never been billed for anything since. WTF are you talking about?
  5. Try it first before you change them. You just might be stunned at how accurate those original "plain crappy" sights point it. I know I was.
  6. Must be... slower than... somebody, then...
  7. Welcome. Great gang here.
  8. I've always wondered what exactly is "high accuracy" with a defensive pistol? Minute of gnat nut? I think this example of a G36 is just fine. (Please see post #16, http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/50883-my-marine-i-g-l-hville-2.html) I don't personally find Glock triggers to be long, but that's me.
  9. My Marine has joined our ranks... welcome, son!
  10. OWB; I started out IWB, and it just hurt my lower back too much. After a year of that, went OWB and have been fine. G19 in a Comp-Tac kydex paddle is easy to carry and conceal all year.
  11. Mikeg, thanks for the info! You rock!
  12. Didn't know about this different "series" thing... I see mine's a 185... anything I should know?
  13. Ok... I really wish I could get a handle on all this ballistics/arc stuff... don't know why it baffles me... you guys that know stuff impress me... so, if I set my target out at 50yds... that's doable at GGC, no problem... and I get it, say, 1-2" high at 50... can you tell me approx. where that would put it at 100 and 150 yds?
  14. I have heard this: "Old rule of thumb is, 1" low at 25 yards. Battlesight zero good to 285 yards." Everyone's info seems to contradict another's... I'm more confused than ever...
  15. Probably easier to put the gun in there after you've had your appendix out...
  16. My G36 is as accurate for me as any 1911 I ever had. I prefer the more deliberate trigger pull, actually.
  17. Help you spend $400? Send me the money. There; that was easy.
  18. All I have here in .223 is the WWB target variety. So, just put my target at 100 and go with it there?
  19. Ok, my son says the Marines sight in their carbines at 36m, and that makes it good at 300, as well. So, since the mini 14 is the same round, would 36m be the proper distance for it, as well?
  20. Slow shooters...
  21. My wife. I don't see crakcers or methers.
  22. Really glad I'd swallowed my coffee before I got to this post...
  23. That, young man, is the best oxymoron ever!
