  1. Everyone should have a paperweight collection...
  2. I think there was more mystique when it was still actually a legend, instead of being a current production model... no, thank you...
  3. Hope it's better than the last fiasco...
  4. Isn't that WPLN, the local lib outlet?
  5. Where do you work? I need a job...
  6. There; fixed it for me.
  7. I have owned an XD9 and a .45. They really felt nice in my hand, very easy to field strip... they just didn't shoot well for me because the bore axis is really, in my opinion, needlessly high. Just the design. It's what made the difference for me. I won't go that way again. There are other guns that feel as good, and shoot much better, again, for me.

    what do you feel

I personally like the S&W 681; non adjustable sights to get knocked, just a good, solid workhorse.
  9. Thanks, guys; I thought so, but I wanted to be sure.
  10. SR9, rear sight has an adjustment screw for windage. At 15 yds, POI is about an inch to the right of POA. Which way do I need to drift the rear sight to make it shoot a tad left from where it is now? My head is telling me toward the left, but I want to make sure...
  11. Congrats. What department?
  12. I'm still Taurus the Bullheaded, even if I'm out of the range now... and does that new one get pronounced like I think it does? o-FUK-us?
  13. Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express?
  14. Oh... oh... oh... man, oh man...
  15. I would think just pour it in the thing; clean and lube at one time...
  16. I've even tried it!
  17. Bragger... Anyway, yeah, he was on Savage a couple days before Hannity. He's holding back on a decision because if he announced while the show was running, the equal time deal would mean every other candidate would have to get two hours/week as well. I was really pleased with what he had to say; he just might be the right guy...
  18. I want THAT sandwich...!!!!
  19. But... but... I'm a slicer!
  20. ... your inbox is full... popular guy...
  21. Ah... I see, Grasshopper.
  22. I'm not following. The officer a) properly stowed the weapon and ammo in the lady's car, and explained to her about proper stowage, the officer stole the weapon... the lady was let go, the help guy fixed the flat and left... then there's a prison joke? Someone 'splain, please...
  23. Congrats. I've raised 7. Trust me, and suppress your own "SBR" after another one or two!
  24. I've had three over the years, all 9's; a '67, a '74, and a newer Practical. They were all excellent, accurate guns, with a balance that's hard to beat. Alas, I moved my thinking away from the SA only trigger, and they are not here. I fell in love with CZ's after that, like a BHP improved. That being said, weight eventually became a factor, and I have settled on Glock.
  25. I didn't ask for a vote to keep or not. I just wanted to know if there was an individual setting where they can be turned off.
