I had a Camper model, and I loved it, except that the rear sight kept coming off during shooting. Sold it, got another Ruger, and never had an issue.

Sam Hoster, of Complete Gun Shop here in Gallatin, the guy that built Uselton's 1911's, was the lead designer, I believe. Uselton had nothing to do with it, from what I understand. I could be wrong; I have been before... I've been married twice...

You would be inclined to understand... somewhat... if you heard some of these vendors gripe about the guys that just come in to hang out just to get away from the wife, chores, etc., with no intention of buying anything. That takes time away from the potential buying customer that walks in; and sometimes that "shop regular" gets offended that his buddy and baby sitter had to walk off and leave him to take care of business. Then, he gets home to the 'net and his keyboard... and things happen.

I believe Mr. Givens has explained their side of the story clearly, and has shed a much needed light on the situation. I applaud you for speaking, sir. Hopefully you can get this resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

While I don't carry one by choice, I find it laughable that anyone would think the 1911 isn't a capable fighting pistol. That belongs in a Humor section.

If you really wanna be annoyed, I have an excellent rental plan; couple days with my youngest, and you'll see how not "playing up" she was. I loved the show, shop, guys. I'm really glad you guys posted about it being on!
