    CZ 75 compact

I had one, an older one with the shiny black finish, the rarer type. It could be carried C&L or decocked. Best 9 I ever owned. I can get it back; one of my buds has it. I'm seriously thinking about it. CZ's are awesome.
  2. Because they knew the only thing endangered was your own a$$. Glocks rock!!
  3. Different strokes. I think the 3rd gen is perfect. The grooves fit my hand like a glove. And I like the rail, too.
  4. There was a run of Glocks that had the rails installed backwards, for some reason. I would think that they would have all been dealt with, by now.
  5. Just personal; don't care for where the Moon sets, is all. I've had a few, and never kept any of 'em.
  6. Dude... I don't even LIKE Kahr's, and now I want one bad!! Awesome!
  7. Yeah; but some folks only understand Dr. Vinnie Boombats... just sayin'...

    Glock Breakdown

Well, tell simply stupid here how to do it.
  9. "By calling attention to a well-regulated militia for the security of the Nation, and the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fear of governmental tyranny, which gave rise to the 2nd amendment, will ever be a major danger to our Nation, the amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic military-civilian relationship, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the 2nd Amendment will always be important." What President said it?
  10. Yeah, there's been some difficulty with Verizon the past few snow days...
  11. Something new to consider: Kahr Arms CM9 Pistol
  12. May God bless, and keep his family in the grace that He provides.

    COLT WOES

    And never will be.
  14. All day long! How much can I put you down for?
  15. Could I interest you in a bridge in Brooklyn?
  16. Then you are a lucky man...!
  17. I think the "boss" he refers to is SWMBO. And if she would rather him spend more money on a higher quality 1911, I think that winds up in the plus column for him, and shouldn't be construed as a slam towards you, or your RIA.
  18. There's more than enough cussouts right here to make up for it...
  19. Who among us has never seen an Unbelievable Female Object?
  20. Stoker, give that Remmy R1 a serious look. That's the way I'd go... if I ever go that way again. And I've had plenty... Colt's, Kimber's, RIA's...
  21. Might have been really busy, and didn't have the time to expound... with no storefront, could be a side biz, and didn't want his boss to catch him responding from work? There are possibilities...
  22. Stoker... you can make more money with the guitar, you can take more money with the gun. Head across to the Murder Mart, you should do quite well. Yes, for the most part, 1911's will be interchangeable, in the mil-spec variety. Some are not; the tightness that has become desirable (?) in recent years to make them target guns has dinked with the reliability and interchangeability of the slightly looser mil-spec, the way JMB designed it.
  23. I've always believed the best Kimbers were the first ones, the ones with the "Clackamas, OR" rollmark (even though they were built in Yonkers, like later ones). They were young, hungry, wanting to nail the coffin lid on Colt, and they were some excellent 1911's.

    Colt WTF?

Poolee, DOA is "Dead On Arrival;" what you'll be at Parris. DAO is "Double Action Only."
