    Any news?
  4. First time I saw a Smart Car was in Switzerland in the 90's. It was a Mercedes product, $5,000 USD. I wanted to get one. The dealer told me by the time they did all the modifications required for the US, it would cost over 20k, and wouldn't be nearly as economical.
  5. What does she do? My late brother in law worked at the Custom Shop for years.
  6. Depends on purpose. For recording, the 18. It's not as boomy. Live, the 28. The boominess makes it better suited for that. I will say, I have found for recording my DX1 is superb. Loud, balanced, and EQ flat is perfect. More affordable, too.
  7. Sounds like a Land Rover might be necessary!
  8. Sportage will fit pretty much any fat a...
  9. The more I learn about them, the more impressed I am. The features per dollar are pretty amazing, compared to others. Test drove today a Rio (small and quite snappy, good starter car), a Forte, a Soul (6 speed manual transmission, I WANT THAT CAR!!), and a Sportage (comfy, feature filled, just not my personal cup o' tea).
  10. If I could get on with Ruger or Glock..
  11. I was never a car guy. This ain't easy. Can't believe all the product tests.

    New job

Well, out of necessity, I'm starting a new gig. I'll be at Rivergate KIA as a salesman. I know nothing about cars, but the sales manager says he's excited to have me on board. He calls me their "token honkey." He seems to think I'll do very well. We'll see. Come buy a car. Buy lots. Prove him right, and help me earn my "token honkey" title.
  13. THE Rino. Carry on...
  14. Only 500 were made. I got to see and hold one in Switzerland years ago in a guy's collection. Really nice.
  15. Look at a Tristar CZ 75 compact clone by Canik. Less money, excellent quality, lighter alloy, will accept factory CZ 16 rd mags.
  16. How many times have I heard, "You just need to give it an address!"
  17. Last time I stopped by NA they had a shelf dedicated to them. Couple weeks ago.
  18. Finally fondled one. Very nice. Not a pocket gun at all. Similar in size to the Walther PK380. Very easy to rack. Like it more than I thought I would.
  19. On a Gen 4.
  20. Anyone know what the 3D in an oval means? I know the pentagon with the dot meant it could handle +p+ ammo. Also, what does AT stand for? Thanks.
  21. Looks nonexistent.
  22. Glock with a happy stick. The party never ends...
  23. You'll grow out of it. I did. Be patient.
  24. Took 110 years for S&W to develop a polymer Colt 1908. Way to go, guys!
