  1. If you had walked in, and presented a valid ID, with no criminal history, by your premise, it would be just as stupid to sell one to you. Can you even imagine the river of s#i+ that would have flowed from Kwik had Bill refused a sale on the grounds of what people think?
  2. I saw one, at G&L in Hend'ville a while back. If they could make ALL their triggers that good, they would be the hardest company to beat. I couldn't believe how excellent it was. Don't know how they'll ever get a rimfire to work like that, though...
  3. Correct. It was sold to Eastside, and Leonard purchased it there.
  4. Coffee. Nuttin' foo-foo; just coffee.
  5. To me, the magwell grip is a non-issue. I believe I'd rather have that to hold on to than grabbing the actual mag for a handhold... were I to grab it in that fashion.
  6. A Touching Golf Story Vic stood over his tee shot on the 450 yard 18th hole for what seemed an eternity. He waggled, looked up, looked down, waggled again, but didn't start his back swing. Finally his exasperated partner asked, 'What the heck is taking so long?' 'My wife is watching me from the clubhouse balcony', Vic explained. 'I want to make a perfect shot.' His companion said, 'You don't have a chance in hell of hitting her from here.'
  7. There was, once upon a time, both a model of 1911 and a revolver called the Colt Combat. I wish I could give you more than that. Good luck, and please keep us posted.
  8. I totally misread that. I thought it said one man poon... well, you know...
  9. I have owned two. They were excellent. However, I just can't past the Glock thing for me, so I sold them. The SR9 is thin like a 1911. Great choice.
  10. Remington. Very nice.
  11. Cleanup on computer aisle... cleanup on computer aisle... spewed soda... bring mop...
  12. Well, I just talked to my Marine. He said the story they've got is that it wasn't an aimed fire situation. They just kicked the door in, and there were so many rounds fired by so many guys, UBL got caught in a crossfire trying to get out of the room. Not a handgun, either.
  13. Thanks. My son wasn't here to ask, and I'm totally exhausted; thanks for setting it straight for me.
  14. That's all they have; JHP rounds are not allowed in combat. According to the rules of engagement, JHP would cause unnecessary harm to the enemy. Only us civilians can have them.
  15. I call BS. Supposedly, half his skull is gone. 9mm hardball? Right. 5.56 carbine, thank you. Not that 9mm can't handle the job, but if there's that much damage...
  16. Right. Did you see the report on 5 the other night? They made bogus charitable phone calls to different gov't officials, one using an Irish sounding name, the other an obviously black name... the officials went right down color lines, both in the 80%+ column saying yes to the individual begging that was their own race. But racism is dead... I'm gonna send you a pm with an interesting bit of history...
  17. Part of why Cain is the only possible contender to actually defeat the Oslug in that batch is... well, the unspoken reason that's obvious. And don't try to deny it.
  18. Just my opinion... but of those on stage, the only one that would clean Obama's clock is Cain. And that surprises me. Paul is too old, and already proven he's not electable. The others, standard gubmint cheese.
  19. It's connected to it's own separate small fuse box, and there's no fuse in it...
  20. You know... I don't know. And now I'm kinda scared to find out...
  21. More pics, guys...
  22. It's in my basement. Old coal chute basement...
  23. I have never understood why S&W can't do a snub trigger correctly. Guess they wanted Ruger to come out on top.
