My bad. Thanks for the info!

Not a 5.56. Don't try those in it. 5.56's will shoot .223's, but the reverse is NOT doable.

    AR 15 Pistol

It needs the speed to tumble on impact. You don't want instability in flight. I believe Hornady TAP ammo might work well. There was a discussion about this a while back, with all sorts of valuable info... think it might have been Dom that provided all the excellent info.

They are great fun to shoot. Ballistically, the round loses all it's good points in a barrel that short. Great range toy, not the best defense option.
  8. Halloween guns! Love it! (I think...)
  9. Do I really need to post a Glock?
  10. And the initial shooter, the one that died, was an HCP holder. Not good.
  11. Welcome to the way pistols of the day should be. You will be assimilated shortly. Trust me.
  12. The Herman Munster of handguns...
  13. Buy a 3rd gen instead. Problem solved.

  15. It's a joke, guys................
  16. The Arizona Department of Safety Officer pulled over pick-up truck owner Mike Murray for a weapons check because of an NRA bumper sticker. When the officer approached the vehicle, the man behind the wheel handed the officer his driver's license, insurance card and concealed carry permit. The officer took all the documents, looked them over and said, "Mr. Murray, I see you have a CCP. Do you have any weapons with you?" The driver replied, "Yes I do. I have a 357 handgun in a hip holster, a .45 in the glove box and a .22 derringer in my boot." The officer looked at Mike and asked, "Anything else?" "Yes. I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and an AR-15 in the trunk." The officer asked if the man was driving to or from a shooting range and the man said he wasn't, so the officer bent over and looked into the driver's face and said "Mr. Murray, you're carrying quite a few guns. May I ask what you are afraid of?" Mike locked eyes with the officer and calmly answered, "Nothing."

    Why Glock?

Probably the greatest percentage of privately owned handguns are Glocks; hence, there would be more of them in the cycle, just because of the sheer numbers.
  19. We still have no answer regarding location...?
  20. Why can't she just go away? Sigh...
  21. I don't like DA/SA myself, because I prefer the pull to be consistent. I'm not a fan of SA, totally, because of the thumb safety required. Not a fan of DA, DAO because I'm not fond of a long, hard pull, either. I have found the Glock trigger to meet my personal requirements, for any application.
  22. Glock.
  23. You maroons are making me want to try one just to try one.
  24. I just went with the sub2000 instead. Haven't had any issues with it, but it sure needed sighting in. Lots of fun!
  25. I'm glad it works for you. My experience was totally the opposite. Owned two of them; figured the first one being so bad was a fluke. The second was no better. Vive la difference!
