  1. Just sign everything "Leonard Embody," and you're good.
  2. No, actually not. Been a while. But, I've been the HS2000 and XD route, in 9 and 45. I really wanted to like them, but... nah. For ME, I stand by what I said. YMMV.
  3. Bleh. Just another too small .45 with a too high bore axis. No thanks.
  4. Well? I believe I'd have some more trigger time; you'll get used to it. You have most of the ball game tackled there above.
  5. Married, eh?
  6. Seriously think you're gonna be looking at the sights if and when you need that puppy?
  7. Awesome. And the link no longer works. Dammit!
  8. Probably other heirs, and financial issues involved, I would suspect.
  9. This is supposed to be improved...
  10. The SIG is the copy; this was the original.
  11. Guys, I got an e-mail from a dear, close friend here in Nashville. Any recommendations from any of you that are far more knowledgeable than I? (Which that would be all of you.) It says: -------------------------- Mike, My grandparents are moving into an assisted living facility here in a few weeks. They are going to auction with most of their belongings. I'd like to get one of his rifles that he and my dad used to hunt with. My mom will keep it up at her house till the young ones are old enough to teach them about gun safety and such. I'm pretty ignorant about firearms. I can't spend a whole lot... is there one of these that you think I should look at. Probably not going to get a ton of use. Maybe take it to the range every now and then. Dave Shot guns; Brazteck 410 & 22, J. Stevens 12ga. Single shot, J.C. Higgins model 20 12ga. Pump, Ithaca model 37, Featherlight 20ga. Pump, Savage model 67E 410 pump. Rifles; Remington model 572, Fieldmaster 22 pump, Mossberg model 640, K.B. Chuckster 22 bolt, Winchester Model 70XTH 243 bolt, Bishop stock Military 30.06 bolt w/3x9 scope, Winchester model 1890 saddle gun 22 bolt and 5 boxes of shells, Iver Johnson single shot 22 model XI.
  12. Correcting the Interesting.
  13. I've kicked my own rear end many times for parting with a 617. They are awesome.
  14. Just be glad there's another gunny.
  15. Are there any shows worth a crap anymore?
  16. Not me; got my own show at BB Kings at 2...
  17. Well, there ya go. Shut the forum. We're done here.
  18. Glad that balances the lack of LaBatts and Molson.
  19. So, this guy is selling a "Talking Centipede." Lonely guy comes along, figures what the heck, and buys it. Takes it home, and asks the bug, "Would you like to go to church with me?" There's no response. He asks again, a little louder, "Would you like to go to church with me?" Again, no response. Now, he figures he's been ripped off. He's gonna ask one more time before he takes the bug back. This time he hollers, "Would you like to go to church with me?" Centipede says, "I'm not deaf! Hold your horses, I'm puttin' my shoes on!"
  20. That's why I said "kinda"... lol... I was just wondering if that was the Barrett company's place. That's just sad... wrong...
  21. Isn't this the Barrett's kinda outlet store?
  22. Just an observation, not trying to ruffle any feathers... but maybe that has something to do with the public's (buyers) opinion of why shows suck?
  23. It HAS to be satire... right?
  24. "facebook.com/pages/Tictial-Bodygaurd-Security-Svc/141965079197359" I LOVE it!!!!! rofl...
  25. So, the Kentucky State Police will get the headline.
