  1. There's a Kwik-Sak in the middle of Gallatin that sells non-ethanol gas. I get 100+ (yes, 100+) more miles out of my cars on a tank of that over the "Enriched with 10% Ethanol" brands.
  2. I think it's time to summon the powers of Leonard for a gig...
  3. Understand. This has been a very spirited discussion, and I'm very glad I posed the question. Regardless of how many of us FEEL about the "abusive overreach of authority" (for lack of a better way to put it), I think MikePapa's years of experience tell us how it IS. If we feel the need to change this, then we should take the proper actions.
  4. This is like watching a thread on the Steel Guitar Forum where Buddy Emmons gives his professional opinion on a matter, and a guy that plays one New Years party in Podunk says HE knows more... lol...
  5. While I agree with ya, Wyatt... (seriously, though, try decaf... )... and it's certainly not a good thing for we, the People to just remain quiet... his statement is simply a FACT of what's GOING TO HAPPEN. Questionable, arguable, needs to be dealt with, absolutely. But pissing in a cop's face ain't the way that's gonna fix it.
  6. Thanks; I e-mailed them through that link. Even the description there is confusing...
  7. Guys, I understand the difference and the no go with 5.56 in .223 arms... but what about the Saiga AK .223 variant? Does that rule apply to them, as well? I see them advertised as .223/5.56, but they aren't marked 5.56...
  8. Except for the trigger. That would turn him/her off immediately. Waaaaay too heavy. I even hate it.

    DEAL ON GLOCK 30?

Fixed it for ya... and for us.

    DEAL ON GLOCK 30?

That's still not "available to just anyone." That's to LEO's, only. Not exactly "misrepresenting," but needed clarification.

    DEAL ON GLOCK 30?

I figured it wasn't just "anywhere."

    DEAL ON GLOCK 30?

    Where, please?
  13. I got the 55-300. It gives that little extra, and at $150 off, it just seemed the one to get. (IMO... someone who earns their keep with a camera should really look at the faster, more expensive lenses listed in this thread. If I made my living with a gun, I would want a $10,000 1911. I don't need that. In either lenses or guns.)

    DEAL ON GLOCK 30?

I will gladly pay you Tuesday for the Glock today.
  15. Glock 30SF. Best ever.

    Bad news

I am sorry. It's no fun... mine was horrible... but I survived... it will get better...
  17. Makes me think of the young, smartaleck fiddle player that said, "See, I can do anything you old guys can do." Reply? "Let's see you piss on your own nuts."
  18. Well, $#it.
  19. Can everyone here please read post #96 by one of out esteemed attorney members? I believe that pretty much settles the bantering.
  20. Stay away. If it says "PRO" on the slide, though, it's a better chance of it being less problematic. The ones earlier that don't say that are very hit and miss on quality.
  21. Not any dog (that I'm aware of), but in Switzerland I had horse steak. It was incredible. I'd do that again.
  22. My wife surprised me with my Christmas present, early... Wolf Camera has Nikon DX lenses on sale right now, 55-200 for $149 (reg $249) and 55-300 for $249 (reg $399). She got me the 55-300... figures it might get me outta my guns for a bit. (Wrong, but a great wife, indeed... )
