  1. Our Wally here in Gallatin was putting in a gun rack last time I was in... curious to see what goes there. Since the military contract was awarded to Remington... this will probably help Colt, somewhat...
  2. Saiga .223.
  3. Yoo hoo!!! Again, it's their monthly meeting....
  4. Never thought of that; interesting...
  5. Ah; it's about the internet. I get enough of that already, thanks...
  6. That's how she knew it was Italian. She wasn't able to find anything similar on her sources, yet.
  7. My wife does this all the time. She says it's Italian. She's checking on it right now for you...
  8. Huh? That doesn't even make sense... if you're trying to make a point... you aren't. The discussion is about 16 folks all getting together with the thought of, "Hey, let's start some crap." Try to focus.
  9. Yeah, ok... and all of us here think alike. After all, we're "part of a group."
  10. I understand the perspective; while possible, I still think that's quite an imaginative stretch, and one I'm surprised to hear coming from a fellow gunny. The comments from the "cameraman" might lend some credence to your thoughts, but he's one, not a group of 16. I'm more a "benefit of the doubt" guy than an accuser.
  11. Quite an assumption. If they didn't go there monthly as a regular meeting, I might agree with you.
  12. Tyler, welcome. This is a great place with lots of great folks and info. There are no "stupid questions." The most important factor in stopping is shot placement, not caliber. "It's hard to argue with a .22 to the tear duct." Col. Cooper, I believe. Whatever you can shoot accurately, consistently, confidently will do the job that needs to be done.
  13. And it's reserved for their "VIP Members." Whatever that is...
  14. The fine line between liberty and tyranny is displayed most excellently in this statement. Well stated.
  15. The opening frame says it's their "monthly OC meet in Liberty, MO." I understand "baiting" if it's an opportunist (ala Leonard), but this is something this group does monthly. Must have panicked an unknowing new customer to make the MWAG call.
  16. Amen.
  17. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/48046-report-card-on-the-new-classifieds-do-you-like-it-do-we-keep-it/
  18. Ah... the Haggard method...
  19. I think it has more to do with the current format, actually.
  20. Very good. Cool heads and common sense prevail. "We don't need no stinkin' badges!"
  21. ... I have no idea! Just speculation I've heard... maybe centuries ago, someone leaned down and asked, "How do ya like THAT???"
  22. I really like that option.
  23. I've always heard the most painful way to die is beheading. Supposedly, your brain feels the pain of the entire body being cut away; and the brain lingers for 45 seconds to a couple minutes experiencing that.
  24. Prince's Hot Chicken!!! Rocks! (And I hear through the grapevine there's a place in Hendersonville in the old ratty Walton Mall on Walton Ferry that is even better... gotta check it!)
