  1. I owned two Hi Points. They both stunk. I owned two Sub 2000's. They were ok; just didn't like the "toy like" feel. Had a couple Marlin Camp 9's. I liked them; but the warning about +p ammo in them made me decide to sell them. Found a used Ruger PC9. While I had a runaround with Ruger in getting it refinished, it is the best 9mm carbine I've ever owned. 16 rounds of tack driving excellence.
  2. Like most country singers (think), he poops gold.
  3. Just got a message from my Marine in Afghanistan: "I need a favor sir... Do you know of any professional resume writers back home? If you do let me know please... A friend of mine recommended a Lockheed Martin position and it looks pretty promising. Let me know when you can." Anybody?

  5. You have this on GOC, right?
  6. Kwik probably has a sling not in use at the moment...
  7. Ditto! I have never understood a firearm REQUIRING optics. There should always be iron sights, IMHO.
  8. An AR Snubby!!! That's cool!!
  9. The red dot is my Marine son with a G36, 12 rds, 15 yds. (The other is me. Oh, well.)
  10. You can't go wrong with a Glock .45. The biggest difference... which is slight, but noticeable... is the SF frame. It's just a tad smaller in the radius, and it makes it much more comfortable for some. Accuracy and reliability are there, regardless. Try before you buy...
  11. Don't ignore the Saiga .223's.
  12. I get e-mails from DailySteals.com. They had a "Guard Dog" flashlight for $14.95. Touted it as being a $70, 240 lumen light. It came today. It was worth the $15... and that's it. It sure ain't no 240 lumens.... but it'll do ok.
  13. Heard that many times about Susan Lynn, as well.
  14. I appreciate the "series reviews," but I'd like to focus on this segment ONLY, please.
  15. And yet, Jane Fonda will be a regular on this show. That should ruin it.
  16. The language? Perhaps I should have warned about that; sorry.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16K6m3Ua2nw&feature=player_embedded I think this just may need to be seen by everyone. I feel it truly hits the nail on the head about our beloved country, where it was, is, and should be. I would love to hear your thoughts.
  18. I don't know who the scriptwriter was; but I think this is an awesome clip, and so nails it on the head. Perhaps there should be a separate thread (either here or in General) just to discuss this...?
  19. On our schedule for today.
  20. So, you pull the trigger, then? I didn't know one could do that. And yeah, you only need the bushing wrench if the bushing is tighter than it really should be, anyway.
  21. Mine has, and will forever remain, pissed about this. Yeah, she's nuts.
  22. The M&P has a small, thin tool that resides in the grip behind the mag. You have to use it to push down a finger inside the magwell through the ejection port to get the slide to come off to field strip it. Personally, I don't like that.
  23. Just don't lose that little butt tool thing to field strip it. You don't need a tool with a 1911. It's not my first personal choice, but the 1911 has a long history of being the "right handgun" for THAT gig. Semper Fi.
