  1. I asked the manager of our local Chili's (Gallatin) about this since the bar has a post. He said that I and my handgun were absolutely welcome anytime, just not in the bar.
  2. "Riiiiight!" (voopa, voopa) "NOAH!"
  3. FTFY. And yes, SPF is sold pending funds.
  4. Whadda ya do, reach in the monitor and pull out their cash?
  5. Having owned one until yesterday... it's a great design. IMO, miles above the M&P Shield. It feels great, shoots great, easy field strip, very accurate... one of the best small 9's out there. I had a factory 8 rd mag for the extension. You can't go wrong with one.
  6. I tell ya... this has to be the laziest a$$ bunch of lay around tire kickers I've ever seen...
  7. Guys! Ever been frustrated by listing something for sale and having no nibbles, but 46,972 views? Mark it "SPF"!!! In 24 hours, you'll have a minimum of 1,563 "I'LL TAKE IT!"s in your PM box!! Guaranteed success!!
  8. No idea.
  9. Doesn't look like he survived long...
  10. I'm passing all this along to him.. thanks...
  11. You gotta realize; that was my first .308 shot ever. I was like a kid in a candy shop...
  12. It exists?
  13. So; I went to the range this morning. Took a handgun to shoot. Nice older gent there and I got to talking. He had some Savage bolt gun in .308. I've never shot anything like that before. He asked if I would like to try it. How could I say no? I hit a 12" steel plate dead center at 300 yards. OMG, I WANT ONE!!!!!!! (Can't afford one, but hey... it's good to want.)
  14. Man, I stink. 293 avg.
  15. Sumner Gun & Supply in Gallatin had one, last time I was in.
  16. pm to stop hijack...
  17. That's ok. I've already got a thousand million in my Ruger PC 9. I'd never recoup, so I'm just hanging on to it.
  18. The only immediate drawback (for ME) is that it requires optics. I want something that has "for sure" iron sights on it.
  19. I couldn't remember his name; thanks, TMF. I didn't even realize he'd been "chased off." I guess he wasn't the good guy he seemed?
  20. It wasn't that nice reporter that used us as a source for that decent write-up a while back, was it???
  21. Real men don't feel the need to boast.
  22. Just sent them a note of congratulations.
  23. Ditto.
  24. I have owned all 3; the SR9 was a full size, as was the XD. The Ruger and XD have a 1911 type grip angle; the Glock does not. The Ruger will have a better trigger, if you remove the mag safety. Personally, I wouldn't recommend modifying a carry piece in that way. I wouldn't want to have ANY legal hassles. My personal preference would be the Glock...
  25. There is also the Just Right carbine that uses Glock mags; another option.
