  1. They did, and other than the case, it's the same.
  2. Are the Zombie handgun rounds (i.e., the 9mm) the same as the Critical Defense, just with a green plug instead of red, or are they not to be used in a carry weapon?
  3. Yeah, I already saw the "black market" story. Thanks.
  4. Anyone have/shot one? Look kinda interesting...
  5. It's called a lanyard loop....
  6. Yeah, I did. That was the first time "hands on" gun, before she ever fired a shot. My daughter was quicker with the camera than I was with instruction. You should have seen her today; I asked her in the car on the way over, "Rule # 1?" "Every gun is always loaded, even if it's a toy." "# 2?" "Point it in a safe direction; the ground." "# 3?" "Don't put my finger on the trigger until I'm pointing at the target." Then, when we got there, she checks safety, proper foot placement, leaned in, proper shoulder... without me even saying anything. She learns quick, and didn't forget one thing.
  7. Today, she shot my 10/22. It fit her much better than the Cricket, and she handled it perfectly. I'm thinking Christmas time... Then, she tried my Ruger PC9. She liked it, but hot brass bounced once and got her on the arm. That spooked her enough to stop the 9mm for today. She went back to the 10/22. She's anxious to go back again...
  8. Great time! Stepped her up to 9mm for a few; she liked it a lot.
  9. Going this morning for trip # 2; not sure which of us is more excited, lol...
  10. Not sure they have a waiting list now. Call Ron Jackson, 517-5413. I got in 10 years ago when a guy died. Seriously.

  12. How so? His FFL business is in Brentwood.
  13. Party Platform statements: Republican Party... "We uphold the right of individuals to keep and bear arms, a right which antedated the Constitution and was solemnly confirmed by the Second Amendment. We acknowledge, support, and defend the law-abiding citizen’s God-given right of self-defense. We call for the protection of such fundamental individual rights recognized in the Supreme Court’s decisions in District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago affirming that right, and we recognize the individual responsibility to safely use and store firearms. This also includes the right to obtain and store ammunition without registration. We support the fundamental right to self-defense wherever a law-abiding citizen has a legal right to be, and we support federal legislation that would expand the exercise of that right by allowing those with state-issued carry permits to carry firearms in any state that issues such permits to its own residents. Gun ownership is responsible citizenship, enabling Americans to defend their homes and communities. We condemn frivolous lawsuits against gun manufacturers and oppose federal licensing or registration of law-abiding gun owners. We oppose legislation that is intended to restrict our Second Amendment rights by limiting the capacity of clips or magazines or otherwise restoring the ill-considered Clinton gun ban. We condemn the reckless actions associated with the operation known as “Fast and Furious,†conducted by the Department of Justice, which resulted in the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol Agent and others on both sides of the border. We applaud the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in holding the current Administration’s Attorney General in contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate with their investigation into that debacle. We oppose the improper collection of firearms sales information in the four southern border states, which was imposed without congressional authority." Democratic Party... “We recognize that the individual right to bear arms is an important part of the American tradition, and we will preserve Americans’ Second Amendment right to own and use firearms. We believe that the right to own firearms is subject to reasonable regulation. We understand the terrible consequences of gun violence; it serves as a reminder that life is fragile, and our time here is limited and precious. We believe in an honest, open national conversation about firearms. We can focus on effective enforcement of existing laws, especially strengthening our background check system, and we can work together to enact commonsense improvements – like reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loophole – so that guns do not fall into the hands of those irresponsible, law-breaking few.†Just fyi.
  14. That doesn't change the mental frame of the deliverer. A lot of folks prefer to do it that way.
  15. Nah. Lots of "off the cuff" in the entertainment biz. Folks there are more used to it. Ad libbing comes much easier.
  16. LEO Mistake # 1. Should have made sure then.
  17. Danish TV... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erYpXzE9Pxs%26
  18. Depends on how you feel about your LGS. If you want to help them survive, trade it. They will make a good profit, and it will help to keep the doors open. If you want the best end of the deal, sell it. Then you can go buy from them, and they won't make as much, but it'll be better than nothing.
  19. I don't know about anything else, but that's the best way to describe MY day yesterday I've ever heard. Think that's a keeper.
  20. Too accurate NOT to shoot. Go for it.
  21. Yep. And I prefer the Luger/Glock angle. Love my old MK II!
  22. wewoapsiak, I sent him the Orion link... thanks.
