1. This will help; say "Nashville" like a local. We put more emphasis on the first syllable, and say the second like "vul." "NASHvul."
2. TWRA Wildlife Manager Randy Cromer said the single action 22 caliber revolver was sitting on the table with other guns. He said the gun went off when a woman tried to move it. "It's my understanding that the lady who moved the weapon was standing on that side, and the father was down range toward the burm," said Cromer. The gun then discharged and shot a 13-year-old boy in the stomach. A helicopter flew the teen to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Although the wound was traumatic the teen is expected to make a full recovery. "He's very lucky. If it had been anything that had any kind of a hunting bullet in it or something it could have torn a hole in him a yard wide," said Jerry Cherryholmes, a local hunter. The accident happened during what is called a cold range when all shooting is supposed to stop. Shooters are supposed to unload their weapons and not touch them while they check their targets and marksmanship. "This gun was loaded and because it was single action it very well could have been cocked (TWRA Wildlife Manager Randy) Cromer said. "Wow" to the highlighted remarks. I doubt the child is a "yard wide" to begin with, and a wildlife manager that doesn't know how a SA works.
3. "You doesn't have to call me Johnson..."
4.
A "piggy head" grenade would be crazy!!!! Habib and Ahkmed would line up to dive on it to save their buddies!!! Dave S
Just upped the awesomeness level. Outstanding!!
5.
I still think that whoever that lands next to will get the point.
And a number of additional sharp, jagged ones, as well.
6.
Bacon could have killed him.
But... but... I just had bacon... SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!

Welcome to the Patron State of Shootin' Stuff.
8.
Killing someone over stuff is a bit extreme but my question is why bother with a loss prevention team if they can't physically detain the thief?
Very true. But, there's a difference in detention, and "detention Bauer style."
9. Interesting statement of how things are today. The divisiveness has got to go away, somehow.
10.
I don't believe we should kill thieves. Instead we should cut off their hands.
Touch of Islam, eh?
11. Thanks; sending it, as well...
12. Thanks! I passed that info along to him.
13. Red, thanks for helping ME understand how to read it!!!
14.
marked Exeter NH on the slide but says "Made in Germany" on the frame so im confused
Which is the exact opposite of the reply above.
15. Guys, I am asking this question for my son. I have NO clue about the replies, though I do appreciate them. Perhaps I didn't know how to ask his question. Let me try again. He explained to me that on his 5.56, if he sights the "crotch chevron in my ACOG" (?) for a zero at 36 yds, it's the same as zero At 300? I think that's what he said. I know YOU guys get that, or maybe can understand what I'm TRYing to say. He's curious about what the effective distances would be for his chevron with the .308...? What close range can he sight to, and what distance will be the similar zero.
16. Oh, c'mon. It's been downhill since Coolidge.
17.
I have a feeling that is why I'm not hearing back from any of our fine reps.. They know the state will lose money on the background checks and not being able to charge us $115 for the initial fee and the $50.00 renewal fee.
Hammer, meet nailhead. Welcome; excellent post, and there is the crux of the matter.
18. I'll take that as a "no"...
19. Ah, Tapacrap. Gotcha.
20. The link isn't even named the same. I do NOT get it...
21. That makes no sense. The blue hotlink even says "2-glockmeister" at the end... copy and paste the link YOU get...
22.
I know, but that link takes me to an old thread. Old enough that Marswolf posted in it. Unless I'm still missing something.
Huh? It goes to Glockmeister's profile...?
23. He's the owner of the shop.
