Got a customer. Inherited a Colt 1911, ser number dates the frame to 1918. The Uncle was a match shooter, and had the gun converted for competition shooting. It has a slide from Colt with the number 7790314, NM on the bushing. Adjustable KENSIGHT rear sight. Any idea of value? I have no idea how to find it.

It's a photo of a reprint of that publication on display somewhere. Not my photo, so I don't know. You can see the reflection of the photographer in the glass, though.

My old Elgin lever set is a gem. I wish modern watch makers would get the drift that the stem BELONGS at 3 and not at 12. It's just natural.

Well, we got in both, and the 43X's sold before I saw them. The 48's we have, for MY hand, they're too skinny. KahrMan loves them, obviously. So, personal fit is what's gonna make the difference.

The 15 rd Security 9 mags click right in to an SR9c. Just need a smaller version of the 17 rd sleeve to fill the gap, if you want. I kinda like the almost finger groove feel of the gap, myself.

Absolutely not. However, the big marketing push is for 10 or less (P365, the new Glocks, S&W Shield, etc).

And yet, manufacturers are telling you 10 rounds are all you need, because that's what they're serving you..

I remember a time not so long ago when people were saying disparaging things about Bill Ruger and his own belief that no one ever needed more than 10 rounds. Immediately after his passing, Ruger started making higher-capacity firearms. Was he right?
