  1. Finally... I e-mailed them about this years ago... http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/gun-shots/2013/01/exclusive-look-rugers-new-45s-ruger-sr45-and-commander-style-1911
  2. I love it. It's an awesome improvement!
  3. And I was hoping for a REAL news tip... sheesh.
  4. Opportunist bastid.     :D
  5. I'll bring lunch.
  6. "We at Glock have decided, regarding the renewed magazine capacity ban in the United States, will no longer ship any magazines of a higher capacity than ten rounds to America. We regret this necessary decision. We will also be offering an exchange program where higher capacity magazines can be exchanged, at no cost to the consumer, for standard capacity magazines. Any magazines fifteen rounds and up can be exchanged for two 10 round magazines. A 31 round capacity magazine can be exchanged for three 10 round magazines.   We regret this inconvenience, and the current climate that has necessitated this decision. We look forward to serving you in the future."
  7. Honestly, I believe I've lost a lot of work calls because of it. Guys just call me for gun advice now. They never call me for work. :(
  8. I expected strafing.. that was pretty cool!

  10. Somebody needs an intimate meeting with Louis V. Slugger.   Just sayin'.
  11. Is deporting in sections an option?
  12. Looks good!
  13. I'm in.
  14. I thought it kicked quite hard. My shoulder thinks so, too.
  15. Well, I'm really glad no one had a camera. Talk about a YouTube moment. There's a scope on it. I'm not a scope guy. I'm looking through the see-through bases at the irons. Didn't realize until I pulled the trigger that the f'n scope was too far back in the rings. Yes, I bled. Still have a headache. I probably would have liked the gun, but that sure put a bad taste in my mouth... and a bruise on my forehead.

  17. Hasn't happened yet, lol...
  18. Well, gonna get a chance to shoot my first lever today. My daughter's boyfriend inherited an old Marlin 336 30-30 from his grandfather. I've never messed with one, but it feels pretty cool. The action is slicker than snot. Curious to see how it feels...
  19. Too bad his first name wasn't Dick.   Then, in listings, he'd be Kurtz, Dick.   Short dick.   ;)
  20. You believe absurdity is the way to validate your point?
  21. Maybe they weren't the "honorable" ones. There was a retired Marine on FB in a gun group that was having to sell his old M-1 Carbine because of a dire financial situation. I made the suggestion that the group (200+) each send him $10 to help him out, and allow him to keep his treasure. It took off, and the group came through. So, the group has it's very own M-1, and he is the "steward."
  22. Don't feel THAT way. I believe the point I'M trying to make, anyway, is do that on the open market, Gunbroker, etc. But, I feel our brotherhood HERE shouldn't be gouging each other.
  23. The fact that this thread even exists shows that there are some of us that don't mind crapping in their own mess kit; and the replies show that we have some folks of honor, as well.
