  1. This happened in my world of steel guitar a few years back. Guy that did really good work in Indiana started doing really shoddy work. He was running behind, making excuses; then he stopped taking messages, wouldn't return anyone's calls. He had a bunch of orders to fulfill, and the guys on the steel forum were really ragging about him. Finally, one guy drove to Indiana from here to see what the heck was going on.       He was dead.
  2. Tag said $429. VERY reasonable.   I doubt seriously I would humiliate you, Larry. More like the other way around. MAYBE Saturday... let me see how the week pans out...
  3. A reply so nice, he said it twice... ;)
  4. If     I     could     get     it     to     open     today,     sure.   ;)   (Yes, and I see there's a new post.)
  5. Is     the     forum     dial     up     slow     for     anyone     else     ?
  6. You know, it became apparent to me this evening that I have a disease.   When your friendly LGS owner calls you on your private cell to tell you, "Hey, Mikey! It's Daniel at G&L. Just wanted you to know we got an SR45 in. First one in the building. Thought you might just want to see it," it becomes obvious that you might be spending too much time in there.   Well, I just happened to be in Hendersonville. Took me about two minutes to get there. (I ignored the flashing blues.) Guys...   It is sweet. I mean, really sweet. So slim for a .45... 10+1... if I had the money, I'd be showing you pics of it now.   If you like the SR series... you will LOVE this. Believe me.
  7. Michael Douchette. I play steel and harmonica.
  8. Wait a min... don't I know you?? That name really sounds familiar...
  9. Joe Walsh??????????
  10. Awesome pic!!!!

  12. So, I'm guessing this is a fear of rifle noise issue, and not a caliber/crazy person issue. I have been there many times when rifles are being shot, with just my foam throwaway earplugs. It's never been a problem. And, as a musician, I have ALWAYS protected my ears. They are my most valuable possession.
  13. This has been referred to committee many times in the past, and has always died. Doesn't mean it will this time, though...
  14. Anything .308 and below is ok at Sumner Gun. Nothing bigger.
  15. Since the "Quote" function isn't working... Vontar said:   "Same for  rapid fire, jump to conclusion reporters?   O wait, but that might step on the only amendment that they like.   The amendments are not a shopping list of which and choice what you want."   If the 2nd Amendment doesn't protect our right to weapons made after 1776, the 1st doesn't protect any forms of communication invented since 1776, either.
  16. Good man.
  17. Sumner Gun? What's not to feel comfortable? Great place, great guys, great range. Enjoy! I go there all the time.
  18. Very perceptive and honest. Most people aren't good at seeing their own faults.
  19. Got such a deal, they fainted?
  20. Read page 2: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1435047&highlight=usa+glock
  21. My understanding is the ones marked USA instead of Austria are built here.
  22. Well... seriously... after doing a little digging... looks like since Glocks are being made here in the US now, and there would be no import restrictions... we may see the .380 available.   Ho-hum.
  23. OMG... cool + 1,000... http://www.caracal-usa.com/caracal-cc10.html
