I saw one here for $540 I believe yesterday, and was wondering what people thought of these as well.

I listen to different music depending on the weather and also depending on whether or not my windows are down, which is extra odd. However I don't limit my seasons to one genre its usually a different genre per season per year but some music just does seem to fit well in my travels during certain seasons. Currently I'm listening to Jimmy Buffet, CCR, and Bob Seger, but my taste in music encompasses everything else that has been mentioned in this thread. My iTunes has over 44 days of un-repeated music, you cant get that amount of music without having a diverse taste in sounds.

Gander Mountain in Turkey Creek, after reading your post though it didn't have the synthetic stock.

How cheap are you looking to get? I see basic 10/22's for around $160 quite often, and Savage mkII's around the same price. Ashly has a marlin 60 that she really likes but it's not mag fed, the marlin 70 series however is and they are pretty cheap.

I would love to go but I'm poor enough as it is and this comment sums up my reasons for not attending. As much as I would love to get my hands on some class goodness, I think cutting back on food for guns again is out of the question.

I picked it up for $12 at gander mtn. Think I'm gonna give owb a shot and see if it will be feasible before I spend some real money on a nice IWB.

Any idea where I can find one locally? I'm going to be moving next Friday and I don't want to order anything online only to have it shipped after I move. Maybe if I can find one online that is actually in stock I could have it sent over night or 2 day for a little extra. I'm not adverse to an OWB holster In fact I would like to have a nice one of each.

How high up does the gun sit? Do you have a picture for reference? The reason that IWB works best for me is that I have short legs and a long torso, 6'1" but a 30" inseam. I can either go out and buy a bunch of shirts for tall guys or I can just use an IWB, but if the gun rides high enough on an OWB I could see that as being an option as well.

Same kind of thing you are, a nice IWB. I have my XD in a cheap-o Uncle Mikes IWB right now, its been on for about 8 1/2 hours today and is comfortable enough but I want something with higher quality.

Congrats!!! Now I can say that without being bitter . Luckily I didn't have to fabricate a reason to go out, I had plenty to do today.
