  1. I've shot FA and really enjoy it, that being said if try to do it. I will say that the glock 18 is by far the most fun though the Thompson comes in close second. Ppsh is on my list to shoot, they are super fast and from what I've heard, a lot of fun
  2. Lol, I could see it being a splice. I'm pleased with the rifle so far. I've only put 20 round a through it but will be shooting it tomorrow if the weather allows
  3. Here is the stamp on the tang. It is a Tula hex receiver pre 1900 manufacture. Also, does anyone know what the empty spot in the stock is? It looks too squared/perfect to be a chip to me. It looks like (to me anyways) that it should be a place that a plate or something goes. If I ever have a reason I may put a brass plate in the empty spot and have it engraved (would be cool if ever give it to someone for a gift or whatever)
  4. Cool, I'll check it tonight when I get home from class to see what is stamped on there. I didn't know they didn't make the recievers Did I mention I only paid $125 for it?
  5. There is a splice just in front of the receiver
  6. So, i figure that showing off my 28/30 is as good of an intro as any. I live in north east tn when I am not in school in VA anyways, here it is, made in 1936. When I got it, the receiver had a good amount of rust on it as did the bore. The rust was cleaned off the exterior of the gun with break free and some 0000 steel wool. I know very little about the gun other than what I can learn of the roll marks and from friends. I have discovered that finding a bayonet is not going to be easy either lol next to my K31
