"Nine months from the date of pending" is the usual answer you get from the folks when you call the NFA branch.  However, it usually takes 2 to 3 months for the form to hit pending.    I guess that's about the time it takes for a carrier pigeon to get from Atlanta to Martinsburg.   :rolleyes:   That's why a lot more people have been bringing in trusts for e-filing.  The wait time is so much shorter.  Like Hozzie mentioned, it's been taking around 3 to 4 months for approvals.

Hello all,   Some of you here probably already know me from Guns & Leather.  I handle the NFA items here in the shop.  My hobbies include long walks on the beach, class 3 paperwork, and shoveling horse crap.  I'm looking forward to my time here, and if anyone has any questions just let me know.
