  3. Welcome, good to see another NE TN member.
  4. I know it is obvious to those of us here, just don't know why it isn't obvious to others. Guns have been part of this country since the beginning. The school shootings and other mass shootings have only been ramping up the last 10-20 years. If anything guns are secured better than they use to be. I didn't know one person growing up that kept guns really locked up, if they were it was a glass front case with a cabinet lock. My Dad's guns (and mine) were in corners and closets. Bullies have always been around, I never felt I needed to shoot anybody because I was bullied and no one else did back then. So if it isn't guns and bullies, we already know that, what has changed. Make a list. Violent TV, Movies and Games are a good place to start.
  5. Another member? Spikehorn probably Michigan's most eccentric character
  6. Must be one of our member.
  7. Last two houses spanning nearly 40 years we have had acres of woods around us so lots of interesting things grow and dig in our yard. Discovered if you have grubs skunks dig holes to get a midnight snack and they make a noise that almost sounds like they are singing. Took awhile to figure out what the strange noise was in the middle of the night.
  8. More Power.... One of the 4 Gatling guns Custer refused to take with him
  9. I never was a conformist. My yard is more other things than grass, but it stays green even in a drought.
  10. Mine is bigger than yours Powder monkey on a Union vessel during the American Civil War
  11. I always mix white clover with whatever grass seed mix I currently like. The clover puts out nitrogen and the grass starts to crowd it out, the clover slows down the amount of nitrogen and the grass slows down and the clover spreads again. Nice system, plus I like the look of clover. Never did anything special, just mowed when needed. I do tend to keep my grass on the long side so that may help to.
  12. I'll Join
  13. Not sure where I picked that one up. Maybe Pinterest.
  14. A friend has a restored one of these. It is a Crosley Mule made for WW-2 Nor sure it ever made it past testing. I got to drive it a couple of years ago and it is a lot of fun. They were suppose to be for everything from a gun platform or a tow vehicle.
  15. Yea I knew that was a pretty big clue. I have a sign on the back IDing what it is completely and I have people walk up to me when I'm sitting behind it, look directly at the sign and say what is it.
  16. Old people don't, at least I didn't. Or maybe it was because my permit was only 3 years old when I renewed.
