  1. Wish I had a picture but it didn't stay around long enough. Was about the size of a groundhog but more brown and had a long bushy brown tail not short like a groundhog. Sorta looked like a squirrel on steroids. I have looked online but can't find anything that lives in East TN that matches what I saw.
  2. Another good hunt
  3. Yep that's the one.
  4. You might be right, that didn't occur to me but it is a very clear photo.
  5. I wonder if she went hunting in that dress.
  6. Another armed lady. I think she needs some instruction on proper use.
  7. You will be about 14 miles from our place. Never camped there or fished but it is a nice campgrounds and park, been several times. They are reconfiguring the park and a lot of the old timers in the area don't like it. I don't know if it will be an improvement going forward or not so I just stay out of the arguments. Did go down a couple of times a few months ago to watch them build a new log cabin over a long weekend using old style tools and techniques all in period dress.
  8. Don't have a picture or pointer but there are two guys that have a long gun mount that they are hawking at local gun shows that comes with a padlock that has a short joystick in the middle. You can move it in 4 directions and you need to go in 4 direction in the right order to open it. You pick the combination. Looked pretty slick for an in the dark completely mechanical lock system.
  9. Yep a well armed women is a wonderful thing as long as she is not after you.
  10. Don't really know. Truck is late 40s early 50s and doesn't look very new. Best guess would be mid to late 50s.
  11. Don't mess with her.
  12. When you need some shade why not use a big gun?
  13. Some varmint hunters?? Some nice optics considering the year (1911) the photo was taken.
  14. A bit of searching around and I found this online. Italian howitzer circa the First World War. It was a mobile gun but was not self propelled. Designed in 1908 and built between 1914 and 1917, a total of 44 were built by Armstrong-Pozzuoli and Vickers-Terni. This howitzer was 305 mm.
