Welcome to NE TN. I escaped Western NY 3.5 years ago. I wasn't a NY native, and I'm old enough to know it was not a good place to be but it didn't pay the bills. Wish I would have made the move years earlier but enjoying life now.

These are the two solutions I used. Wife added a couple of stitches to a couple for some smaller guns. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FEJ3YMI/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My second safe also came with multiple holsters on the door and I may add some more, non velcro types. Still running out of space too, so hoping for some additional ideas.

Another welcome from East TN. I have used an app called CCW on my iPhone for years, it cost a couple of dollars but the data is updated to latest law changes nearly every time I open it and it covers all the states. You have access to most of the actual laws for reference. You can also fill in what carry permits you have and it shows what states accept your permits.

I bought a 6 pack of Billy Beer back in the day. Didn't drink any of it, I made some gag gifts to give away instead. I used a glass cutter to cut the bottom out of some wine bottles, glued the Billy Beer can to the bottom and glued it back on. Attach a label of break in case of emergency. Later Billy Beer became a collectors item for awhile so I wondered if anyone I gave the gag gift to cashed in.
