  1. I wasn't that concerned, just thought it was interesting. I have only had it happen twice in the many 1000s of rounds of .22 that I have shot. The other failure was some very old ammo I decided to shoot up, I'm guessing it was 60+ year old ammo. That was in an old single shot bolt Winchester and it actually threw some gunpowder out around the end of the bolt.
  2. Nice collection of double barrels.
  3. Yep Steve McQueen dressed for Wanted Dead or Alive show. He was also into racing so he may have been taking a break from the set.
  4. Looked at this picture a bunch of times before I noticed the two squirrels hanging from the window above the hunter. Looks like they are jumping on him.
  5. Yes the brass split. It expanded enough to jam in the chamber.
  6. Had a Thunderbolt fail to eject from my Ruger Mk IV Monday (yea I know about the recall from Ruger but mine is shooting fine and I'm following the rules so will continue shooting it till the box shows up to send it back) and this is what I found when I pried it out.
  7. Another good vehicle for our crime-ridden liberal cities. Just the thing for a daily commute.
  8. Wonder why these didn't catch on.
  9. Anti Aircraft Motorcycle Patrol
  10. We are on a roll. Mobile Police Machine Gun.
  11. Not a cat, not a groundhog unless it is a hybrid/mutant variety. Not in the weasel family. Guess I will never know unless I get a chance to see it again and get a photo. Thanks for all the suggestions
  12. I did check the trail cam and it managed to avoid that.
  13. Was more fat like a groundhog not slinky like a weasel.
  14. One of my favorite TV guns. Keep trying to convince myself I need one but seems very impractical.
  15. Here is a nice collection, what's with the kid though?
  16. I heard a noise in the shrubs and figured it was one of the lizards we have all over the place but then noticed this long bushy brown tail sticking out from under the shrub. I walked around a bit trying ti scare it out and it ran along side of the house to another bush. I repeated and it ran across the sidewalk and under the porch. I would say 8-10lbs. Other than the color (brownish red) and the long tail, I would have said groundhog (woodchuck depending where you are at). Maybe just a weird groundhog or a radiated red squirrel. Thanks for the suggestions.
  17. Wish I had a picture but it didn't stay around long enough. Was about the size of a groundhog but more brown and had a long bushy brown tail not short like a groundhog. Sorta looked like a squirrel on steroids. I have looked online but can't find anything that lives in East TN that matches what I saw.
