Guess I got fooled again. I have caught a few fake old photos and didn't post them.

peejman reposted his old posting above but I wanted to put in my agreement. The push the gun don't pull the slide method was taught in an NRA pistol class I took when several small women were having problems. I have taught several people that we're having racking problems the method since.

Got rid of my last glass computer monitor before we moved 5 years ago, I had it stashed with a bunch of other old computer gear. Took it all to a local place that took electronic stuff for recycling filled a couple of their bins. They charged me $5 for the glass monitor, everything else they were happy to take for free.

LCPII has a significantly better trigger than LCP if you haven't tried it. The main reason I bought it since I already had the original. The grip is just enough thicker it isn't as painful to shoot as the original. I added a hogue grip to the original to tame it down a bit. I painted the black front sight with a florescent paint pen on both of them.

Fallschirmjäger examine a captured M1 Garand during a short truce to evacuate French civilians from the port of St. Nazaire in France. Just pull this trigger thingy here. Any better captions??

I usually carry my LCPII because it is invisible in my DeSantis holster in my back pocket. I use Precision One XTP - 13”+ Penetration according to tests.

I learned a little TN law in the HCP class, which I assume is part of the online class. But I already had my NY permit which requires no training just a lot of time and money, and they think handguns are so dangerous that you can not even own one or shoot one till you have a permit. I then took two NRA hand gun classes and the classes for the Utah permit. At least two in our HCP class learned somethings from the live fire, they had never fired a handgun before. They didn't do anything dangerous, so they did listen in class, but did need some help from the instructor. I still believe in constitutional carry, but training should be encouraged.

Welcome to TGO and the neighborhood. I live off 107 up by the Crossroads. Normally use my backyard range but when I want longer distances I go to Scioto.

Safe lock digital changed to mechanical
Jeb48 replied to Swang's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I agree, mechanical is my preference also. I limited my last safe shopping based on having a mechanical lock and only found out later I could have swapped out fairly inexpensively. I like what I have but at the time I had wished I researched more because the next model up had some features I thought would be nice. Most of those features were easy to add, so all I lost is about 6" of depth. -
Lawman Frank Hamer when he was a 24-year old City Marshal in Navasota, Texas. He gained fame years later as the Texas Ranger who got Bonnie and Clyde.

Boy I feel old with what you guys had for first cars. My first car was a 1949 Crosley Station Wagon that I bought for $100 when I was 13. I spent the next 3 years rebuilding it mechanically. Had it tore down to just a frame on a pair of saw horses then cleaned and painted and assembled. Never got beyond a rattle can paint job for the body when it went on the road to drive the last of my high school years. Here is the hook, I still have it. Rebuild mechanical a second time in the 70s and it is on jack stands in my shop waiting for me to get to a third rebuild.
