  1. Not sure what they are doing but lots of fire power.
  2. Bud's Gun in Sevierville is suppose to be biggest gun shop in TN and has an attached range. I have bought a couple of guns from them. Smoky Mountain Knife Works is next door and has a large gun area and a lot of neat knives. Lots of smaller shops depending on where you land. I'm about 90 minutes from Bud's and try to make it down a couple of times a year. It is a good place to take liberals just to see their head explode from the long guns out on the floor that you can pick up and look at. Handguns are behind the counter or in cases, too easy to walk away so you have to ask to handle them. Full auto and suppressors are federally controlled and require a federal license per item and take 6 months plus to get one.

  4. Welcome to TGO. To answer one of your questions back aways the power company getting into the internet business is fairly new but they seem to be expanding into areas underserved faster than any other companies. They are doing the same here in NE TN with Fiber and small wireless towers. Still waiting for them to drop a couple more towers in for me to move from slow DSL but a friend that had no options but cell hot spots or satellite just got fiber back in December. Good Luck
  5. Good question. I joined before even moving to TN and was welcomed and encouraged. I have learn lots of things, some even useful . Met a fellow early on that has become one of best friends. I consider many of you on here a friend even though I have only met a few of you. Bought some nice guns from several of you, one I just picked up today. Bought a nice knife for my son but it is still being stored on my mantel . Have not missed many days checking in here since I joined, it is just part of my day.
  6. Deer hunter in style.
  7. All smiles at their new toys.
  8. Not sure exactly what this is but it looked interesting
  9. Raquel Welch. "Bandolero!" [1968]
  10. Wow, I like my 9.5" Single Six but people give me a hard time, can't imagine what they would say with a 16" barrel. I bought mine because a friend has one and I always liked it. I gave him a hard time about being a better shot than me because he was closer to the target.
  11. I have shot both(owned by friends), they were fine. Liked the Wrangler better and was thinking of buying one but decided to move upscale and bought a Single Six instead and love it, but would not spend the $$ for a SS to leave in the barn. If you plan on shooting coyotes the Heritage with WMR might be your best choice, the more powerful round would be useful.

    Coved Shot

Heard one of the talking head experts on TV saying early tests showed that one shot after having Covid (I think it was a month or so after) boosted the immunity by 1000X. Wife and I are going in tomorrow for our second shot of Pfizer.

  15. Colorized but a neat shot. Cleaning Browning Automatic Rifle 16 April 1944
  16. Looks like a scaled down Hickok45 range. Very nice.
  17. Real gun or a prop for the photo? Looks strange.
  18. I have several guns (pistols and long guns) with red dots but none are home defense. I have fun with them shooting targets but I'm much slower getting on target. It is fun hitting the more distant targets, I have them zered in so if the dot is on the target it hits it. For speed I like open sights. If you go forward practice a lot.
  19. I have the latest Henry version fun little gun. Not sure why I bought it other than I got it cheap. Local dealer took it in on trade in original box with few if any rounds shot.
  20. Welcome to TGO and East TN. I'm even further East so my FFL is to far from you. Lots of Knoxville members here so hopefully one will have a suggestion.
