  1. I would probably pick a 12 for single caps but if you do the whole roll 16 would be the minimum, bigger would be better.
  2. A soldier of the U.S. Seventh Marines carries a puppy in his pocket after rescuing it during an operation southwest of Da Nang in Vietnam on Jan. 22, 1968
  3. I don't know about the later Ford diesels but my 2000 7.3 had bad glow plugs for years. The only problem was starting in cold weather. Luckily I was already retired by the time they were bad and I plugged the block heater into an appliance module that I could switch on remotely. I would turn on the heater and hour or so before I needed to start it and it would start right up.
  4. I asked a friend that has a Volt hybrid (he agrees full electric is not for most people but loves his hybrid) about being stranded in a snow storm. He said, assuming a reasonable charge when they get stranded they could go days running the heater if they were conservative, heater takes a lot less power than motor. He lives in the North and he carries space blankets and said he would use the seat warmer with the space blanket over him and the passenger. Apparently he has tried this and he says it keeps you comfortable and uses less power than heating the whole car. He also uses the heated seats for most short trips rather than turn on the heat. I could probably be convinced to go hybrid if the battery gave me 40-60 miles. That would take care of most local trips and I could charge at home. Long trips you run on gas. Apparently they are working on batteries/charges that could give you a full charge in 10 minutes. If that became the norm then they could become the way of the future. Of course you still need to generate and distribute all the extra electricity. My friend says accept when they take a long trip they buy no gas, they just plug in at home every few days.

  6. Name the actors, movie and gun
  7. Since I read the forum daily, chronologically, I have not seen a problem. Not that many new ads that I can't skim to see if there is anything interested added since the day before. When I first joined I did scan down to see if something interested might still be available but now I don't need to go beyond the new posts.
  8. Looks to be a Luger, is the fellow next to her wearing a German uniform?

  14. At todays price for .22 it would cost $150-300+ per minute to fire in full auto but it would be fun.

  17. One other point I forgot, unless you have strong friends buy from someplace that delivers and puts it in place. My downstairs safe was put right where I wanted for an extra $300 and well worth it. I had an easy delivery is why it was that cheap.
  18. I vote for the second safe also. My original Tractor Supply safe is now my upstairs safe tucked in the back of a walk in closet and I added a Liberty downstairs. Storing some guns for my son right now so close to capacity again but making it work. Biggest problem with two is deciding which guns go in which safe. If money was no object I would go with the walk in options. I know two people with that luxury. They don't just have a walk in safe it is a nice room with furniture. Rich relative was the best, vault door was hidden behind a fake wall that hinges out so you don't even know it's there.
  19. A fellow that I know slightly has a bunch of kids I mean a bunch. Was at a gun auction 7-8 years ago and they but a Cricket up. Wining bidder could take 1 or up to 5. Everyone was holding back figuring they pick one up without running up the price. He took them all.
