That was my opinion also till a friend was visiting that messed her ankle up and it was suggested she use the external CBD to reduce pain while she healed and she swears by it so we picked up a small jar of the salve and my wife used it first on her knees and was amazed at the relief. I tried it on my wrist with similar results. We don't use it a lot but it is nice to have around. Our second batch we bought in a roll-on container and that is much less of a mess. A friend takes in orally and says it helps but we have not see a need for that. He was on some fairly strong pain medicines and it has helped wean off them. He says it is not as good but it helps.

  3. "The National Desk" has been on a couple of weeks now and it seems to be balanced and just reports the news not give analysis and opinion about the news, hope it stays that way. Locally it is on a Fox station for 2 hours in the morning but the second hour is pretty much a repeat of the first so I switch over to the Today Show if I'm still nursing my coffee, to see the left leaning side while I read One America News on the computer to see the right side. I recommended it to some friends up North and it is on the CW iup there for 3 hours in the morning. It is from Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

My wife and I use CBD externally on joints as needed. Works miracles on certain joint pain.
  5. I tried to do my part.
  6. I'm all in to index funds with most of my money in the whole market and whole bond. I'm happy with running the average gains. Have some more focused index funds in my Roth. Use to do stock picking and it was a sure way to drive down the companies stock so I stopped doing that.
  7. When we bought 6 years ago and got our house insurance with Farm Bureau, I asked about coverage for sinkholes and they said it was automatically included in all of their policies unless they were asked to leave it out. I think the savings was less than $50 to leave it off. Earthquakes and floods are natural also and you can get insurance for those.
  8. Cloris Leachman - 1975 Crazy Mama - a long and successful career. May she rest in peace.
  9. First I ran across such a beast. I would guess motorized. Looks like there is room underneath for an engine. Not sure how effective all the armor would be when you just need to shoot the horses to put it out of commission as far as moving.
  10. A friend built an 80% 10-22 and yes he has more in it than if he would have just bought a finished one. He still hasn't figured out how to make it shoot reliability without jamming. He tried a couple of things and last I talked to him it was just sitting for an inspiration, he things he can adjust the tension on the mag spring to make it work. Sounds like a grasp to me.

  13. Not real old but a nice shot. Not sure which movie it goes with.
  14. Hard to believe, even back in the day, a Packard owner would strap a couple of hogs on the front fenders.
  15. If your new desk is strong enough, I bought a free standing display stand that is a heavy base with a pole. You then buy the brackets you need. I have two displays on mine one above the other. They also have brackets to mount two displays side by side or just mount a single display. Lots of options. I'll try to find where I bought it if it sounds like something that would work.
  16. I wear pretty much whatever my wife brings home in my size. She is cheap, so I'm sure none cost more than $20. Some of the best ones were from second hand stores and GoodWIll. She is also really good at patching my old ones.
  17. I use to browse GunBroker most nights for 30 minutes or so but haven't been on in a couple of months, not worth even looking. Glad the last to handguns I wanted were ones no one in their right mind would want for self defence and still got a reasonable deal and they are .22s and I have plenty that I would rather shoot than sell.
