  1. Probably not what you want, but I need some tall saw horse for a project so I bought sawhorse brackets that fold and used longer 2X4s to get the hight I wanted. Later when I needed a portable shooting stand I took a piece of 3/4" plywood about a foot wide and screwed two 2x4s to the bottom space apart to slide over the cross 2X4 of the saw horse. I then drilled a hole through all three 2X4s and put a carriage bolt through with a wing nut. Makes it easy to take off when I need the saw horse. I covered the plywood with carpet. I have had one of these portable shooting stands on my Amazon wish list for awhile https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000F5UOYW/?coliid=I31794AWEID85M&colid=UQ7EGBL6F9V9&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

  4. I missed that Ottway has a show. I did go to the Jericho Shriner show in Tri-City area 5 or 6 years ago, very small and dark so it was hard to see what was for sale.
  5. As long as we are IDing guns what is this one.
  6. My safe is in a basement shop/garage. I use a combination Eva-Dry and Golden Rod. Since it is my shop I run a dehumidifier about 9 months out of the year set at 50%. I do nothing to the guns and have had no problems after 7 years. I left it on the 4X4 skids it came on and bolted to two wall in a corner and put a trim piece across the bottom so it isn't obvious that it is on skids. The crew that delivered and set it in place suggested leaving it on the 4x4s to keep it off the concrete and make it easier to move in the future. I also have an upstairs safe with just an Eva-Dry. I just watch the color on the end for when to charge and take them out and plug in the wall overnight.
  7. I always wondered if the house was broken into in the middle of the night if they would be more afraid of the pump shotgun or the fat old naked guy holding it.
  8. I usually go to Gray Gun show (last Saturday, not very good this time), Kingsport and once in awhile one of the two locations in Knoxville. But a local one I aways like even though it is very small hasn't happened in a couple of years, the Greeneville Gun Show is usually held once a year at the Greeneville National Guard Armory 130 Hal Henard Rd Greeneville.

  11. I've been back a few days but still getting caught up. Here is a photo to get back into one a day. German soldiers take aim from the backs of horses, mid-1930
  12. I always ask when having a gun shipped and now found a place that is $25 with BG check. It is a couple of miles further than the closest but they are easy to work with and cheap.

    Shooting Range

A friend joined TAC2 just for the long range and he could never get time on it. They onl schedule its use a few times a month apparently because other parts of the range need to be shut down and they never seemed willing to do it when he tried to get time on it. He quit after one year. This is all second hand info.
  14. Yea I did the same thing and lost a month or two.
  15. Taking a week off while on vacation, Will try to stop in, but reading on an iPad and all my photos are on the computer. I’ll leave it to you guys to post pictures this week.
