  1. Soldiers from the French African colonies holding a position at Boucle du Doubs, near Besancon - France winter of 1944
  2. Just looked and El Dorado is streaming on Paramount+ if anyone is interested.
  3. Found Rio Bravo on archive.org so I'm downloading it to ad to my watch list.
  4. Only thing to add is unless you already know your neighbors you may want to restrict how much you shoot really loud guns, 100 yards of woods doesn't deaden the noise much. I have a backyard range and have never had a complaint but I don't shoot early in the morning and anything bigger than 9mm I try to restrict the amount I shoot at any given time. I have invited several neighbors to join me and a one has a couple of times. I'm on a 1/2 mile dead end road and I know of at least 3 other ranges. Most everyone on the road shoot so that helps too.
  5. RIO BRAVO, from left- John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, 1959 Guess I never saw that movie, seems like a strange casting of cowboys.
  6. I usually just go outside. There are many kinds of blasting media and you may want to try a few to get the finish you want. Crushed walnut shells is one if the more gentle. One advantage to a cabinet over outside is it captures the media for reuse and you don't have to wear face protection while blasting which is usually and over the head hood which can be hot in the summer time.
  7. Not sure what to say about this one.
