I'm a lefty long gun shooter, with a standard righty AR15...No issues so far with brass landing on me...

Well technically, my sks was converted to evil black gun status...But was a bit cumbersome to shoot, especially during rapid fire, i had a hard time managing barrel climb..the .223/556 is a much more manageable round vs the 7.62 round... :) My old sks... Well folks, i decided a few weeks ago to upgrade from my sks to a AR 15 platform gun...But didn't want to spend for the higher end models...So i went with the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport... :) Got it new at a local gun shop for $632 ( $701 out the door) So far i am very impressed with the guns accuracy...some pics of my first shots at the range today, all with stock iron sights... Pic of the M&P gang together :) the very first shot with the gun at 50 yards... Second shot @ 50... First shot @ 100 yards... Second shot @ 100 yards... rapid fire @ 100 yards..All on target :)

    Right now i have a one of them "mr.coffee" type permanent filters for the main filter, they are a 100 micron filter( http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41LDoOfCqEL._SX300_.jpg )..I cut a hole in the big red screw top to fit the filter exactly...So far this has worked very well filtering out most all junk, the only down fall to this filter is you have to clean it out at least weekly.....Currently, i use this catchment system to water my little garden, and wash all the vehicles..The system is not currently setup for completely safe consumption of the water right out of the tote(technically)....In a emergency situation, I can quickly and easily make it consumable by simply pouring about 1/2 cup of bleach into the tote, then the entire 275 gallons would be (technically) safe to consume in about 24 hours...I plan on buying a complete filtering setup for it as i can afford to... :)       here is a great video on how to make a portable filter system...   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVI9YDsOZj8

I run both 20 and 30 round ProMag magazines on my sks, absolutely no problems, I also have the ATI Strikeforce stock...The trick to getting the aftermarket external mags to not jam is to fully load the mags when you first buy them new, then let them sit a day or 2, i usually let them sit for about a week before initial use...New mags have a super tight spring, which causes the round to "nose up" when the bolt comes back to reload the chamber...The practice of preloading the mags before first use has worked for me to eliminate the jamming issues.. :0)   my sks :0)   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COSJvS4kBTI

Let them have all their weapons-n-crap...In the end, you still got to have someone on the other end of the gun/missile/etc to fire it..I also believe that in the end, most of the weapons they are ammassing will end up being turned against them<--(the govt)...   They arent going be able to control 350 million people, not in this day-n-age...

Here's my experience with the sccy pistol..i bought one brand new for my wife a couple months ago..Brought it home, loaded it up, and the extractor was so tight that it would not let go of the ejected round(working the gun by hand)..I never even got to fire the first round through it.....I took the gun right back to the store the next morning, and traded it in on a M&P shield .40....I recommend you stay away from these guns, espeically if you are going to use it as a edc..   If you want a decent cheap handgun, go buy a hi-point...I've owned 2 of them and they both functioned flawlessly...
