  1. When I bought my last safe from Safe house in Maryville I was talking with them about the digital on a Canom safe I have. I just wasn't happy with it. Lady said they have to get i to about 100 a year that have failed. Wanted to put a dual on it but it wasn't possible so they installed a digital that is supposed to be top of the line. Said they had had zero failures with it. My other 3 safes are all dial with keys.

  4. Very accurate observations.
  5. 357sig definitely is a lot of fun.
  6. Major major major scare in June. Cardiologist told me point blank get the weight off and to get off insulin or I wouldn't be around in 3 to 5 years. Being a diabetic I had tried several diets etc over the years. A friend recommended Profile by Sanders. I had never heard of them. It clicked with me. I'm down 60 pounds since July 2nd. Dropping 2 1/2 pounds a week like clockwork. Basically teach you how to mix food combinations properly. I can honestly say I have not been hungry and am now starting to feel fantastic. I'm off insulin and reduced all my other meds. My goal is another 40 pounds and be off all meds. Finding the program that works for you is key. Diet isn't the right word, it is truly a life change.
  7. Yes. I have collected gold and silver coins and bars since my mid 20s. Enjoy the scenes on the bars the most!

  14. Wanted to add to Jamie's positive experience at Point Blank in Knoxville. I took some of my staff and their families there today for a group event. An absolutely fantastic experience for everyone. Each person could bring there own guns and had access to any rental gun, was giving 1 box of ammo, eye and hearing protection and targets. Kids 14 and under were free (nice surprise) , 29.95 for everyone else. Minimum of 6 people but I had 9. I did pay $50 for an instructor. We were given a room to use for 2 hours food, etc and had 2 hours of range time. We had 3 kids. A 16 year old boy, and two 14 year old girls. Very little experience for this group. Nothing like watching everyone, especially the kids, go from being a little afraid to big grins and comfortable. They shot everything from 22s, AR-15, revolvers etc. Of course I had to bring a revolver and Desert Eagle in 44mag. 16 year old boy I hear is still talking about shooting those two. The staff was fantastic. Made everyone feel comfortable and answered all questions. Cody, the instructor (a Marine) was fantastic. He was attentive and gave good, solid instruction, but also stepped back and let each person shoot which really added to their confidence. All in all an absolutely perfect experience. I shot maybe 15 rounds today mostly demonstrating something. One of the best days ever for me at the range.
  15. I always do hard copy if available. Nothing like a book in your hands. I will admit I have some things in both for convenience.
  16. I have went down rabbit hole today on videos today too. Hickcock45 is one of my favorite and always get lost in his stuff. Definitely good thoughts for your friend Doug.
  17. I agree completely. I'm a lifetime member but have not sent any donations in awhile.
  18. Welcome to TGO.
  19. I'm definitely a Sig fan. Also a huge S&W revolver guy. I buy any I can get my hands on. Great looking guns.
  20. Good luck finding his Fighting Smarter book. Last time I looked was over $100 used on Amazon. Great book. Wish I hadn't loaned my copy and it never returned.
  21. Well I wasn't but now that you've brought it to my attention.......................
