  1. Nice video and bullet trap!
  2. There's a lot of boats out there. I looked for awhile.
  3. Nice
  4. As stated already Life is Short! If you enjoy fishing and need to sell/trade a few guns to enjoy then why wouldn't you. It's sounds like you would still have plenty of guns left. You stated you were wanting to leave your guns to grandkids, maybe memories of fishing with you would mean as much or more to them than the guns. I know my time with my granddad on the lake is/was priceless. The Savage 22 lr bolt action he gave me is also priceless. It's actually the most valued gun in my collection. We all need to enjoy life more and worry less. In the end we are not taking any of these things with us. Best we enjoy our time while we can.
  5. Amen to that. Whew!
  6. I failed to mention I've been losing a lot of weight and kept holding off ordering. A service they offer is for $20 the will resize as I lose more weight.
  7. I finally took the time and ordered a belt from Beltman. All I can say is why did it take me this long? I thought I had a decent belt for carrying. Oh my what a difference. The belt is fantastic but the customer service was impeccable as well. David called the next morning after I ordered the night before to verify the length etc. Was shipped out that day. I can't say enough good about the belt and my experience.
  8. One of my favorites!
  9. Congratulations!
  10. Between my wife and myself we have nearly 900 rounds through "hers"and have not had a single FTF or FTE. Only maybe 3 instances of the slide failing to lock back on an empty mag. We are only shooting CCI mini mags and Stinger ammo. Every gun is different and I'm a big proponent of putting a lot of rounds down range of the ammo we are carrying every day.
  11. She definitely trains for this. She had a Walther 22 so had worked on that. But was way out of practice. Getting back in tune now. Her favorite thing now is 6 to the chest then 4 (2 double taps) to the face. She's 5'4" and I'm 6'3" but I'm beginning to think if in a gun fight I'm getting behind her.
  12. Purchased one a couple of months ago along with the 380 EZ and 9 EZ because my wife is starting with arthritis in her hands. She had to give up playing piano which was a passion. She and I went to the range with all 3. She shot the EZs first and really liked them. Then she shot 10 rounds in the G44, looked at me and said this is the one. Her shot placement with CCI Stingers is impeccable with this gun. She has about 500 rounds through it and loves shooting it. That's not been the case with other guns as in her words "they hurt". Watching her confidence go up is a big win. She's never been afraid of guns, just doesn't like the pain in her hands. Ive heard all the arguments about best caliber to carry etc etc. But I know one thing, if you don't practice and won't carry because "it hurts" then caliber size means nothing. Plus now we have date time at the range. Win, win all around.
  13. I have 2 free range passes to Shoot Point Blank in Knoxville that expire 4/30/2020. The first 2 paid benefactors that respond or PM me can have them. I will mail them to you. I have a 3rd one but just noticed it expires tomorrow 2/29/2020. If you're going tomorrow I will text you an image and it should work as they are barcoded for a one time use but I can't guarantee that.
  14. I beg forgiveness!
  15. They took my phone, paper and crayons.
  16. I'm not a politician but I endorse this recommendation!
  17. Had a great time meeting up with @221 Fireball @KahrMan and @hipower for lunch. Met with @Fourtyfive also but he couldn't make lunch. Always enjoy meeting with fellow TGO'ers and chatting about anything and everything. We definitely need to do this more often. PS: I highly recommend Jack's Beer and Burger joint in Murfreesboro.
  18. I'm a lever fanatic so my suggestion is both. I do love my 45-70 calibers. It's a great shooter.
  19. Welcome to TGO
  20. Got the email notice and ordered 2 about 30 minutes ago.
  21. Beautiful. Congratulations.
  22. What happened to each person is responsible for THEIR actions? I lock my vehicle religiously but I feel even if unlocked and someone robs me anything further is on them. So if I lock or dont lock my doors at home and someone comes in and steals a gun that's on me? If we blame the innocent and the victims, we are starting down an extreme slippery slope. Heck it's all but open season on police officers. And yes there are bad apples everywhere, but condoning what I see happening against police officers sickens me. Lawmakers (politicians) have made a joke of our judicial system. My brother is a warden of a prison in NC. You just might be amazed at the laws and rules that are forced on them every year to protect the rights of the convicts. I'm sorry but once you commit a crime you changed the rules for yourself and the penalties should be stiff. God Bless the police and district attorneys navigating such a mess. Just my humble opinion.
  23. Nice. Engraving is cool.
  24. He shows up as a member now.
