I hope John Force retires from behind the wheel and decides to run the Force Organization and lets the younger people do the driving. I never thought Funny Cars would ever break the 300 MPH but they said John was over 300 just before the crash!!! I remember when Don Gartlets cracked the 200 mile mark in a rail dragster.
The record is 341mph now. Regular run in the 330s.
Based on what I'm reading I don't think he'll drive anymore.

Update doesn't sound great.

I agree he needs to retire before serious injuries. I've met him a few times and his passion for drag racing is off the charts. I don't think he has anyway of turning it off. He would probably rather go out in a car than any other way.

I am thinking about making the Marlin 1894 in .44 magnum my next purchase, I love the Ruger made Marlins
You could go original Marlin 44mag JM stamped. Stay away from @KahrMan, he will help feed the addiction.

All of mine shoot everything decent but Hornady Leverevolution 325gr FTX is a solid round overall.
Winchester 300gr JHP does well also.
Hornady 410gr Sub-X works best for suppressed.
I have 500gr Hardcast and I highly recommend it if you hate your shoulder or need to shoot through your neighbors refrigerator from the driveway.
I'm an ammo hoarder and buy when I see any at a decent price. Also have supplies to reload more than I'll ever shoot.

That’s a small patch compared to what they were back in the day
Yes it is. We couldn't see the end of the fields for tobacco or hay.

My Granddad bought me my first rifle from Sears. Savage 4C, bolt action 22lr. I was 6 weeks old. Yes that's right, 6 weeks old. LMAO. My most prized possession of all my guns.
