I personally don't recognize any issues that would require a meeting!

HAM is a cool hobby. I have my Amateur Extra license and all sorts of radios from the inexpensive Baofengs to Uniden, Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu and some others. Talked to people half way around the world. Working with Antennas is really cool. I currently have them in trees and in my attic plus some portable stuff. Getting started is easy and there are some great YouTube channels that are free and walk you through getting licensed etc.

Absolutely gorgeous GT.

Being a diabetic I understand the circulation issues. For me a good pair of Merino wool socks and Merrell boots cannot be beat. I have several pair of Merrels in different styles.

This is priority number 1 and may make it cost prohibitive.

There are a few mis-stamped 681s showing as 68-1. Very nice revolver. GLWS -
Those look fantabulous. My sugar jumped 100 points just looking.

Sideroads are still solid ice here. We have been able to get out every day in the Jeep. Two people this morning piled up in the ditch right in front of us within a couple of minutes of each other. The sad part is I told my wife to watch both of these dummies are going to be off the road soon. Let's just say running 20-30 MPH on solid ice is not a wise decision. Day 4, all snacks are gone and I was unable to post Day 3 due to feeling faint from no snacks. I am too old to go clear the elderly folk's vehicles in my neighborhood for treats, so I live vicariously through @MacGyverson now.

Money can't even come close to that kind of payment. A great life lesson for your son.

I'm usually in 4wd. Grew up on narrow two lane roads in mountains of Western NC. Lot of hills etc so needed it for traction going up. To me it gives a little more control if front starts sliding but also helps slowing down keeping foot off the brake. I also had a Mustang GT when I was younger and would pass 4wd vehicles in the ditch. Only used 2nd and 3rd gear. Common sense, slow speed and foot off the brakes is the most important thing. That and staying a good distance from EVERYONE.

Final measurement here at house was 10 1/4 inches. Note to self, even being in the gym 3 days a week does not prep you for shoveling 10 inches of snow from sidewalk and driveway. Roads were very slick this morning about 11am. I75 was fairly decent. Day 2, My 10 day snack supply is depleted.
