  1. How can you own and run a gun forum without an AK-47 is the real question? Glad you ordered one so we don't have to answer that question. Congratulations. Looks like a nice piece. I just purchased another AK-47 Yugo Underfolder the other day. One cannot have too many guns of any caliber.
  2. Worked my way up through the ranks in the automobile industry. Purchased the Ford Dealership I had worked at for 10 years. Sold it 10 years later and semi retired. Started a photography company as a hobby. Built it into a thriving youth league sports and school photography business over the next 5 years. We were taking over 60,000 kids pictures a year. Sold that business and opened my own insurance, financial planning, business coaching agency. Been doing that the last 6 years.
  3. Congratulations and that sucks all at same time.
  4. Interesting topic. My brother helps a friend work gun shows. There sales are still very strong. I personally don't attend anymore as prices are not what I'm willing to pay. He reminds me that not everyone, and in fact most people, have no clue what prices should be. They are tired of the flea market type direction, many are taking.
  5. Very nice. I always like a price below what I was going to offer. Congrats on a good looking rifle.
  6. This is an awesome thread. I love history.
  7. Finally found a Yugo underfolder AK I liked. This one is pristine.
  8. I was at an auto auction in Chattanooga. I remember how quiet it got as the news spread. Then I got a call from a pilot buddy who told me all planes had been grounded. It was also my daughter's 9th birthday. It was hard for us adults at her birthday party. We realized many things as we knew them would be changed forever.
  9. I'm a hoarder of all things firearm and at this stage have a huge range of calibers and yes duplicates of many. I have a new son in law who loves guns and both my daughters are very well trained. I can now begin sharing with them. Has been my plan for many years.
  10. My daughter is 18. Her hair has been so many colors over the years I forget her real hair color (actually blonde). It's red right now but was blue for several months. The green yellow combo was actually very cool. Lol. She's a great young lady and we gladly support her individualism .
  11. Actually the store in Turkey Creek in West Knoxville has great selections and fantastic sale prices. Very friendly staff. Always enjoy going to this location.
  12. Agree
  13. Very nice gun and a great story to go with it.
  14. Mine started about a week before Christmas. 10 days of antibiotics and pearl cough meds. Still can't shake the cough completely. I did get a flu shot and pneumonia as I do every every year. I don't think mine was the flu.
  15. Great pictures. Sorry for your loss.
  16. Congratulations on school. Good luck. Thanks for all you do for this forum. The coming changes sound great.
  17. Pretty cool and funny!
  18. Well said. Prayers sent. Merry Christmas!
  19. Got mine today. A very well made tire gauge (Which I truly needed since I couldn't find mine last week) and a under desk gun magnet. This is perfect now I can get my gun out of my desk drawer. Already tried the gun and it holds it very well. Now to mount it to my desk. Thanks secret Santa. Perfect gifts.
