Where do interstate rest areas fall in this?

Does anyone know of a gun show in knoxville this weekend ?

I don't want to bash. They had a fair amount of hand guns, a few long guns, some knives, no ammo, didn't see any grips, holsters or any accessories $6.00 to get in. Like I said it's just a few miles from my house and I did it for the dogs. I wouldn't drive from knoxville unless I was bored for something to do.

Knoxville had a muder and rape last week where hotel employee let himself in with pass key, A real shame young girl from alabama in town for job training. It was on respectable side of town they have him in custody may be others involved. Just not right

Is it legal to have have handgun in your motel room for protection ? Lets say you have no handgun permit but transported the correct wayis it allright to have at bedsid table?

Alot of people just don't understand that every thing that goes thru the register is profit My wife runs our business " sports bar" you ought to hear how rich we're getting they don't have clue about overhead . some weeks she doesn't get a check. I work for a large company. I'm getting off track. the way it should is like this I stopped at frontier fire arms I saw what i had been hunted I have been here before they are always friendly everyone takes time to say hello and work there butts off to be helpful in return I appreciate all of this show respect be aware that they have other things going on if I don't like the pricing don't bitch or be rude just politely pass. Frontier has always been extremely nice and helpful as I'm sure you are. Some people think the are owed something just because they buying something. I've been looking for a sig p245 found local and bought it yesterday any else have one of these I guess the small magazine makes them less desirable but I like the compact size

Does a bersa compact 45 qualify ? pricing is right for good quality

I think its a N frame round butt. Correct me if I am wrong. The wood ones are nice but they are a little slick and I worry about recoil. Honestly I haven't fired the gun yet. I know I should just experiment with the different grips just haven't had a chance yet thanks again for info

Thanks for info I haven't seen either one first hand . so the compac is smaller but thicker and would be better for carry

May carry 325pd on occasion very little. Which would be better choice between pachmayr decelerator or compac grips I already have hogues "pretty large" and wood ahrends "pretty slick" Not planning to be every day carry

I really want to thank everybody for info. This may be off topic but this another example of incorrect info from people that should know. I know when I ask about my HCP (see bkelm18 I do try to learn) I wanted to take beginners course they said I really didn't need it just come and shoot. Do you really want to be next to someone at the range that in the last 6 months bought a 325pd (doesn't know what ammo to use), compact 45 (first decocker) bought from guy didn't know it had one and an anaconda never been to a range in my life and shot 5 rounds in over 20 years. I think beginners course is a good idea. These examples are from different locations I hope this come across as thankful and respectful to you at TGO for your help, and not any kind of bashing

thanks for info what would you want to fire it in I have bersa 45 and amt hardballer with a colt barrel "I think" I know its not the orginal amt barrel are ether one of these acceptable ? should I put them up in the safe and wait on better knowledge

Another dumb ?Is it allright to shoot 45 +p in a 325pd (golden sabre 185 gr 45+p) +p in titaniumcylinder. I didn't know if there was a difference. I apologize for lack of knowledge but what it is is what it is

So if you have a ccw permit is it alright to carry a weapon if you have no paperwork or bill of sale. I know you should have it checked that its not on hot sheet. but I have some I bought years ago, football boards, etc. Some have told me to register others say not to carry.

yes there is a place named friendsville. I have acumalated a few guns over the years but have not shot in years (5 rounds in last 20 years) my knowledge is very weak. I'm taking beginers course "can't hurt" and the go on to get my carry permit. first and ex wife told me I was just like my friends nothing but lake trash. name stuck just wanted to be part of something local
