  1. I have a box full I'm willing to try. just have to dig them out and idenify.
  2. I have one I won on football board In the early 80's. It wouldn't feed anything. Friend put a another barrel and spring in it " colt I think" its been a great gun ever since. They do have a bad rep but I hear some got lucky with a few good ones. I also own a 380 backup from the early 80's that I never had a problem with. they to had alot of issues.
  3. Goin' postal did mine in maryville only took a few minutes. The guy was extremely nice. I think they are a new franchise. No additional fee
  4. + 1 for aker B21 $40 at copquest

  10. I have 2 P 245s. I'm glad coop didn't like his P245 " just kiddin" I now have his disapointment. It was my second P245 It was one of the ones that came from germany recently. It went straight to safe. The're one of my favorite pistols. but I like compact 45s and don't mind the 2 finger grip with pinky below.

I took the easy way out on mine I took a wood draganov stock sanded it to fit receiver, cut out some more of the stock and then sanded the grip to make it smaller with some finger grooves It shorten the finger reach to the trigger. Could have done better job if I had been more patient but I'm pleased for time being. I have another I may try to improve on when I get time
  12. I found a pair at frontier fire arms that have "sig" across front that work for me They just fit over my regular glasses with no issues
  13. I bought a belt made by aker at a reasonable price from copquest It was dress belt with insert i've pleased with. I can't remember but I think I paid $40. They have a 1 3/4"
  14. I'm not really sure how this one works. I can't see where the spring is or how it works . It only says spring assisted ???
  15. Not sure I started this thread in right section but I was surfing some sites during the snow and came across some S&W knives with the "magic" feature. Are these things legal and if so how do they differ from a switchblade ? Just curious wouldn't mind having one a work because it would be handy.
  16. Thanks I was asking out of curiosity. I'm not looking to buy one I perfer a smaller simplier knive. The rock was an atempt at humor I'm on vacation and bored but better than busy at work
  17. This may be a stupid question but is the purpose of a glass breaker on some of the H&K knives. I was just looking around saw one. Is it what it implies a rock would be cheaper.
  18. Thanks I thought so. I thought the county was talking about changing this. I think I'll be safe with 3 great danes at " paws in the park" not they that bite they'll lick bad guy to death
  19. I bought a aker b21 with insert on copquest for $ 40. That I'm pleased with. I think its a good belt for the money.
  20. Anybody know if you can carry in springbrook park in alcoa ? I thought I heard where blount county overrode some decisions.
  21. I just use a small plastic container that sits on the tunnell in front of console. It has typical "junk" pens, scratch pad, planner, etc. But make small nest out of t-shirt material on top. cover gun with baseball cap. easy access well within reach. I just take gun out of holster when I get in and put it back in holster when I get out. Routine traffic stop LEO ask where gun was at ? I Told him laying under hat. OK just leave it there.
  22. I went ahead and ordered an extra set of straps with holster to have as extras in case they wear.
  23. Yeah OS, i meant the straps on the one I ordered. It never dawned on me that putting straps on the widest part of the holster was the worst place until you brought it to my attention. I recently bought a IWB with metal clip won't go that route again I'm sure there are good ones I just don't care for it. Unfortunately I'm made several unwise holster decisions.
  24. Nice looking holster also. But I'm curious about how the new strap location works out.
  25. Don't know where I missed on url I just did search on akjconcealco. I didn't specify bodyguard. So I guess it won't have one. I wasn't thinking and in to big of hurry. There online catalog is kinda of vague. but still my fault for not paying attention to detail. I wanted for winter carry anyway and I do wear undershirt.I use kramer pocket carry in summer. I didn't see any on ebay. The deciding factor was I wanted black and really didn't care for the suede insert. Would a 640 be that bad without one? No hammer and not much to stick out.
