  1. I grew up in south knoxville great place then and still is. Alot of good middle of the road people. That being said, you never really know what's going on in the neighborhood. I realize that this in not an "eye opening" statement. How many times have you seen the neighbors interview on the news. "He was good neighbor", "quiet never bothered anybody", " kept to himself"
  2. All I can say is I had nnnoo idea !! Thanks for the site
  3. It s delayed right now because of storms 6-0 tenn
  4. Goes good with the rainy weather outside right now
  5. First time I heard him at someones house I thought it was some jimi hendrix that I hadn't heard. Its a real shame they both aren't around today especially since they were gitting a little more "bluesy" toward the end of their careers
  6. +1 can't remember ticket prices back in the 70's but saw alot of good concerts. ftncityfb ya ever think the ridgetop tavern would be a church
  7. Might have been. I think all the locations finally sold out and changed names.
  8. all of cas's stores were a little on the "unkept" side I worked central ave, chapman hiway, vestal and I think there was one on the corner of university and western. Talk about the "bud man" drawing a crowd at university and western I can't remember for sure if this a CW's. fivestring did you ever get to play "uh perform" with Dolly? This was where she got her start. I can remember see her her walk down the halls at school in sevierville when I was in grade school
  9. He's got a couple of other ones also, but not as funny. I use to live down the street from him on gaston ave in Knoxville. He was a piece of work. I use to deliver to some of his stores and sometimes he roll up in his old rambler with his nephew driving and come in and check everything out.
  10. gaawwwddd I love tivo ! no commercials on anything I want. Glades , Memphis beat, Dark blue, 4 hour race in 30 minutes
  11. I also saw where they put tie straps on the hole on regular spyderco knives to get the same function. Sure kills the looks but I guess it would work
  12. I think the cold steel AK 47 has similar feature
  13. I've got thunder road tivoed Two lane black top "a little draggy" from the 70's had lot of people, cars, and locations from south knoxville and blount co. The el camino use to circle mc'd's and Ray Smith was the starter of the race at the ending
  14. nitrogen ? I thought it was gimmick but for the money "what the hey" I do think it gave firm feel and better ride. Tire mileage I don't know, but I did get good wear. Fuel consumption couldn't tell. Could it have been my imagination ? Maybe you know how a new muffler makes your car ride better. I wasted 20 bucks on alot worse. I never seem to have to add tire pressure
  15. I stated on the other thread that I got over a 100k closer to 120K with michlens on a chevy 2500. Honestly I wouldn't believe me ethier. I used nitrogen and it pretty much all interstate driving. I got it with 19K and a set of high end "bridgestones I think" that lasted 20 to 30K I replaced with the michelins. I commuted daily on I-40 204 miles and trust me the brakes weren't used. I have 235k on the orginal brakes. I'm not doing the "Cookeville turnaround" any more so this set is looking like they will get less mileage. I have had good luck with the michelin
  16. I was hammered when I married my first wife. It didn't help a bit I still woke up stupid
  17. I got over 100k [120 + ?] on a set of michelins on my 2500 duramax. I think nitrogen helped you could tell a difference in the ride. Granted 95% of it was interstate. Doesn't look like I'm going that much on this set, driving in town
  18. Thanks guys I've been cleaning off the lake bank last 2 days in shorts and tennis shoes "shorty socks". Spotted the poison ivy last nite. No itching yet
  19. how 'bout tryng to find your cell phone and your talking on it
  20. Sorry 'bout no link heres another one :: Spyderco Online Catalog :: for spyderco but I guarantee it took me alot longer to post this link than to google it. I wasn't lobbying for crkt quality so much as pretty intertaining to look at. I have a cheapo Mo' skeeter "discountinued" and didn't really see any bang for the buck deals in catalog. Just alot of different new ideas
  21. I just got a catalog fom crkt and its really nice . Its well worth the effort of going online to get " free " Its the size of a magazine with good color pictures, info and a lot of new designs. Makes a good new addition to bathroom library
