I vote ripple! But check Walmart they were clearing out some kershaws because they were in boxes instead of skin paks. They had some good prices depending on which store and availability.

I had on my rear window in my truck " I'll keep my gun, freedom, gun and you keep the change" bumper sticker from the election. I removed it before making a couple of trips to fl. due to concerns of traveling. I did get stopped by local LEO for a headlight light at 5:00 am the officer had a grin on his face when we walked up ask for license I told him I had a HCP. He didn't run a check said I looked OK just said get my light fixed I promised I would I and told thanks I that I didn't know it was out. Which repaired that day. I didn't know it was out because my running lights still worked. The sticker was new at the time.

No expert here but I've had good luck with using the deck staining pads. I've got a dock and seawall that I do and I can really knock it out and it seems to spread evenly. There may be a downside to them I don't know about but they're cheap and easy on the back.

I pocket carry a S&W 640 with kramer holster. Its easier with cargo shorts to slip in and out of the pocket for quick trips to town or runnin' in and out of the house.

I have the nickle uc 45 I have been very pleased with it. I bought it used never had any issues with it. The grip is a little thick for some, I'm fine with it. Its simple to field strip. It was one of my first compact 45's and I haven't fired in awhile but best of memory the recoil is not bad. I agree it is a nice gun for $$ . As for 1911 comparison I think there are some differences decocker vs cocked and locked the biggest one
