  1. I hated spurrier when he was at fl Could it be because he always fiqured out how to win ? or his sarcastic sense of humor which I found funny ? I wonder how devoted Vol fans would have been if had coached here I am a big Vol fan but find myself rooting for Spurrier since he's been at SC
  2. Can't handle losing ??
  3. Our vet is great also. Always show personal interest, sends flowers &card when we have canine loss. His daughters have dog/house sat for us. even thought it was funny when one of the danes was caught on all fours on top of his daughters mini cooper. The guilty one ! the black and white one, not the orange one
  4. Thanks for taking me back. I forgot how funny they were ! Off to youtube for some more laughs

    So I am torn!

I had a 220R stayed in safe never shot it, really didn't like it as well as my p245 I traded it and regretted it the next day and will probably get another somewhere down the line Its a classic
  6. welcome from Friendsville
  7. Pretty much down to S&W 640 and kramer pocket holster, Ocasional concealco IWB. I Ocasionally rotate a S&W CS45 and Sig P245 both with IWB holsters not as much as I once did. I 've gotten lazy with old age and the 640 is so easy to just throw in my pocket or console etc and comfortable with easy access. The 45's I would be more apt to carry in the winter and I had a lot of errands to run and be diggin' in my pockets "wallet, keys, money (front pocket), etc. I'm pretty much on Ae-35's train of thought easier on "old decrepted gezzer"
  8. talk about scary I used to deliver there, seeing the place just before the sun comes up and the fog nestled over the old stone and rusty barb wire Its pretty creepy
  9. I think until after Xmas I'll save the $25 toward the Ripple I like both but the Mo' skeeter could be my EDC beater (really not a bad knife just don't like serated blade) and the ripple for my "sunday go to meetin' " knife
  10. Old thread revived again I got mine from 1st now long time exwife I believe it went something like this "Your just like the rest of your friends, no your worse than them your just plain ole laketrash" Kinda hurt when she said I was "worse" than my friends It didn't help when they got "laketrash" t-shirts made up or would knock at the door the next day after a "fun filled evening" and ask if "I could come out and play" Anyway thats my story I'm still on the the lake, with a great wife and slowed WWWaaayyy down.
  11. so no one buys from you and we all complain honestly I'm not so upset that I wouldn't go back Your nice people trying to make a living But don't ya think you shoud have sugar coated it a little bit what were you thinkin' I might add I paid top $ but didn't mind because of the quality of the weapon and the treatment I received there was unbelievable especially the guy that waited on me
  12. I guess the new overhead has caused some additional stress I have been to both frontier arms stores and bought a handgun and other supplies and have always been treated nicely and enjoyed the trip This certainly has changed my opinion about my trips back in the future I believe TGO David is right about fatal mistake
  13. welcome from friendsville
  14. Yeah I'd like to see them go to a bowl "any bowl !" Kentucky won't be easy by any stretch. At least we won't have to here about Boise state anymore after all Nevada is a big time powerhouse
  15. Just flippen' thru gun magazine this morning and saw this. I didn't know if it would interest anyone as a suggestion for a "stocking stuffer" I really don't know if this woud a useful little tool or just a "gimmick" since field stripping and cleaning pretty much maxes my ability out. Just thought I'd throw it out there. The Gun Tool: 18 Gun Tools in One Frame - Avid Design Probably just a gimmick but it may be better than socks and underwear
  16. Thanks for everybody's advice The "magazine fairy" must have shown up overnite. I can't get it to hang up. It still cycles a little rough I may have the shells worn a little from redoing over and over Here is a pic the bottom one is the"bad "one I think it might be the indentions are a little deeper than the other ones. AS CK1 said may require some breakin time to smooth it out. Btw I did swith springs, follower and baseplate from the others. It didn't change anything I guess range time is next step.
  17. Trust me I'm not one to tinker On this mag the shell won't push to the top because it seems to bind. Whether trying to feed in the gun or using your thumb to push em thru. Its not doing the nose up thing. I seem to remember this being a issue discussed on another forum, Its being laying around in the safe for awhile because I didn't want risk screwing it up. I wouldn't dare carry until its been proven at the range especially since I have 3 good ones. may try to post some pics tommorrow to show how its hanging
  18. + 1 I don't want to even leave a republic arms patriot in my vehicle "its intended purpose" for fear "murphy's law" will intervene I lost a nice S&W model 60 this way to a POS who rumaged the cars in our "secure" neighborhood
  19. In my case Its too tight. I think S&W had some issues with the chief magazines I think they had to add some indentions to keep the shell from kicking forward My other 3 function fine this one won't "kick up" because its in a bind With me me not being real handy I'll have to be careful to open up too much
  20. Thanks, could also maybe sand wood to match profile of magazine
  21. 4:00 - 4:30 S&W 640 AKJ concealco when not using kramer pocket holster, sometimes S&W CS45 in kramer IWB or Sig P245 in blackhawk IWB.
  22. thanks makes good sense I just didn't want to rough up the edges with the pliers
  23. Whats the best way to open the lips on a magazine ? One of the magazines (new) is a little tight on my CS 45. Does anybody have a good method ? I 've tried needle nose pliers but I'm afraid I'm going to "bubba" it up. It just needs to be opened a smidge. Any Ideas ?
  24. As already stated this the "ticket" I have issues with my left hand and this works great with all my subcompact 45's. So with that being said get her one she likes instead of settling for one she can just rack
